i played for about an hour and a half last night but got bored. I dont know whats wrong with me and this game. I know buying it and COD4 at the same time has a lot to do with it because i love the fast paced action of COD4 and the multiplayer. So I think I have a hard time transitioning. And this has to be the slowest paced of all the GTA games as well.

But I dont plan on buying any more games for awhile so i'll push through it.

this was my issue last week. i ended up buying a PS3.

GTA is better on the xbox simply because of the upcoming downloadable content. Overall I think PS3 is a better system because you get more for your money (blu ray player and a console).

oh yeh, its pretty retarded and hard. You have to move the whole camera to aim. it sucks. i think only that one mission where you chase the girl's bf on a bike do you HAVE to kill em while driving.

Yeah, on all the car chase missions, your mark will eventually stop and get out of the car, or at least slow down to where it is really easy to shoot him while driving.

You don't have to kill the boyfriend on the bike. Eventually he will get to the park and meet up with his cronies, you just need to kill them all there. The easiest way to do the shooting while driving is just line yourself up directly behind them and hold down the button. It requires very little aiming as long as you can stick with them. Usually like 1 1/2 SMG mags will catch the car on fire.

^^just line up your car behind them and start firing...when you're following them and they're going straight, the camera's usually lined up pretty well by default. Just unload SMG clips at them, knock them into walls/other cars, etc.

It's a shame you can't fire the rocket launcher while driving. They should make a full out Mario Kart mode where you can pick up and fire all weapons while driving and you respawn in your car after getting blown up.

and while i'm at it, Are all the races as easy as the first one brucie puts you in? It seemed that if i just slowed down at the turns everyone else spun out and i was able to get first very easily. And i'm not the best gta driver

i've done about 10 races and they've all been really easy. especially when you get put against really slow cars (if you're driving a sports car that is)

I haven't really played all that much this week b/c of lack of time, but I did try three leaf clover a few times... fucking get mauled in the subway EVERY time... usually from behind when I don't see the cops coming with the heavy guns...

The last mission was fine up until the chopper. At that point it just seemed like random chance whether you made it or not.

It seems like most of the driving ones won't let you damage the other car with gun fire until you get to a certain point. If you just focus on driving it's a lot easier.

If that were true I wouldn't have killed the car TWICE on the last mission.

If you are having trouble driving just focus the aim right in front of you, like how it would be if you had your arm right out of the driver side window, and just leave it. Aim with your driving.

Also, I just found out that you can zoom with the carbine. I'm the master of one shot one kills now with that mug.

They definitely have some where it's possible. I've just had a few where I've unloaded a mag into the back window of the car without breaking it, but then they hit a certain point, slow down and become very vulnerable to gunfire.

It tends to be if you can catch the other car, you can kill them. There's some places where no matter how well you drive, you just can't catch the car in front of you. But if you can catch that car then you can blow it up as well.

I was running from the cops earlier (only 2 stars) found a subway tunnel and ran until I was out of the blue radius and then one of the trains fly past me and all of a sudden I have 6 stars!!

First time I've went into the subway tunnel on foot, didn't know it was that serious of an offense.

I'm kinda tiring of this game, I'm not sure if i'm going to finish the story(any time soon at least). one of the last things i've done is kill that random russian guy from Niko's past, when he says what's in the commercial, "I'M THE ONE... WHO SURVIVED!" How far am i from the end?

I played COD4 online last night and had more fun than I have with GTA4 in a while.
