they need to realize that our trivia group is a very diverse group that pull from a large body of knowledge- we are not all a bunch of random movie buffs or a bunch of sports nuts, which is what you need for a good team -sorry, but it kinda got to me when I heard someone early in the night say that you will get disqualified for the phone unless you are danny's friend while looking straight at our team, and then later they sat there and made some comments about how big our team was (when in reality, half the people that were there weren't even playing)- we don't use phones, and there is no limit on members (most weeks we only have 4-5 people anyway)


annnnyway, back to the topic at hand- I could have sworn Far and Away was made before Days of Thunder- ah well, at least we got 1 pitcher out of the whole mess

and as for the length of trivia, thank you smoking ban- also, there have been alot of teams recently (2-3 person teams) which takes longer to grade/tally

There was in the beginning, but they got rid of it- that is so people wouldn't be pushing tables together- and while yes, we did have a couple more people yesterday than normal, it was mostly people that we knew who came for dinner and didn't want to play trivia, and left after a round and a half. And like i said before, we typically do have only 5 people on the team

the signs say 5 person limit...but the signs were made back in May before we realized that was unrealistic because people invite friends. If we still enforced it, i would have announced it as a rule. Now if we look over and a team has like 12 people, I'll say something.

I've been twice, which is one more time than it takes to realize Willie Wright runs circles around you with trivia.

I also remember the same group of forty-eleven TKEs and cohorts -huddled around their cell phones at Sammy's back in the day. The only differences being that the questions were difficult and Willie would call people out for cheating.
