just kinda bombed during the upgrade, now on launch it freezes every time the application loads.

i guess i'll have to uninstall and just instead of upgrading do a fresh install.

well...at the moment it's a HUGE clusterfuck, so it's not so much organizing as it is fixing my library completely. [WORDS]

A long time ago my desktop died and my files weren't retrievable. Luckily I had a laptop with maybe 1/3 of my music on it, but there was still that 2/3 to get back. This was back when apple would let you use your iPod as an external and take music off of it and put it on another computer for free. So I did that and put all my music on my laptop. In turn, I then had duplicates of some songs, but I backed up my music this time.

Now my hard drive on my laptop died, and I haven't backed up my music in a year (bad LK bad). When I put my backed up music on my new drive, for some reason locations were lost and half my music wasn't actually there. So I had to pull the files from my iPod again, but this time with a program I paid for (damn you apple!!). Now, I have triplicates of some of my music, but I have to make sure the location is right b4 I delete a duplicate or triplicate.

So, I figured while I'm weeding through 6000 songs (ughhhhhhhhh), I might as well do a clean up like making sure old downloads or music I burned to my iTunes are labelled right, have the album artwork, etc.
