^x4. Yeah, I've left my tag with no password so people can play social lists on Live when they're in the library. I just tell them not to play any ranked, (because they're mostly terrible). When I play there, I refuse to play anything team-based. Nothing like having to carry three other ridiculously bad players to win.

what is the benefit of quitting matches to loose exp on purpose? does it make you level up faster?

from what i understand fewer EXP + good finishes in ranked games -> faster ranking-up

which basically means i'm screwed permanently with my GT for ever going up again (i have a ton of exp and i hate quitters)

like someone said it helps you level faster. there was also a glitch in trueskill where if you had someone that quit out of a ton of games and had negative EXP and you went into doubles with them, if you won all the points would go to you, making your skill go up much faster.

and also if you go into doubles and win, then go into a social playlist and quit a game you can level up much faster. some people have said you can reach 50 without playing anyone higher than low 40's

^^ because it's the fucking library. they put video games in the middle of a bunch of work stations. everytime I go in there to do some fucking work, some jackass playing halo is always causing distractions. the library is a place to do work, not play fucking video games. if they wanted to put games in the library, they should have at least created a section for all that shit to be in rather than stick it in the middle of the fucking workstations. it's completely fucking idiotic to put something that is the exact opposite of school work and studying and quiet in the heart of the new section of the library.

If you're in the library learning commons looking for "peace and quiet", you're retarded, even without the games. There's always a buzz of conversation with study groups and such; the stacks are where it's quiet, rent a laptop and work up there. When I play, I'm quieter than most everybody and I make sure the people playing with me are quiet. If people are giving you a problem, go ask them to keep the volume down instead of being a whiny bitch on a message board.

Im not looking for peace and Tiger Guy, Im looking for a place to meet with other people from my classes, and work together on a whiteboard, and the learning commons is the most convenient place for that.

~9 floors... you pick the one with an xbox 360 and a wii. that's all i'm sayin. i'd suggest you check out the wolves den or the many classrooms all over campus that have whiteboards and are empty fairly often. if you have classes at centennial you can also request a FOB to get into the buildings after hours and half the rooms are desolate after class times.

i DONATED a year subscription to the Libraries for the sole purpose of students being able to play on xbox live. this in addition to three games. knowing those idiots, they probably sold it at the book sale for $2.

^Yeah, what's your tag? I think every now and then they delete old usernames if the hard drive gets full. Every one of the other Live-enabled tags is password-protected (besides mine)...I guess you'd have to re-download the tag to make it work again.

where there are a bunch more shitheads, but they're on both sides, making for easier kills and more fun

you don't need to talk too much on social games...you can communicate most of what you want from warthog/mongoose/elephant horns, or just do your own thing

Using a similar argument... couldn't the people that want to play games do so in the many apartments and dorm rooms all over and around campus that have xbox 360 and a wii?
