I'm at 59.30% and on the last mission but I can't bring myself to try to beat it. I failed once and havent tried again since.

gta race is a lot of fun. race to win, or if you get fucked up early, set up a roadblock and get some guns. if you kill 10 people you'll earn about the same amount as first place will with 0 kills. also mafiya work, you do simple missions against other teams like kill somebody, deliver some drugs. its good if you get tired of the others.

i didn't think about it until I was doing a race the other day, turned a corner and there was a blockade of cars stretching across a 4 lane street

the dude was waiting behind the blockade with rocket laucher

he took me out twice and the guy behind me out too

last night was my first night on multiplayer. me and some buddies were tooling around in party mode waiting for someone to join. instead of shooting each other up, we flew around in choppers thinking of crazy shit to do. it started off just bailing out and committing suicide, just seeing what we would hit and how we would land. this went on for a while, and eventually we pretty much were playing lawn darts seeing what we could hit after flying as high as possible. this led to the empire state building as a target. we all bailed from the chopper, and one guy actually landed on one of the ledges of the empire state and lived. of course the rest of us died and had to go search for a new chopper to try it all over again. well our dummy buddy just decided to chill on the ledge and take in the view, i guess. we were in the chopper on our way back to the empire state building and he wasn't sure what to do; if he jumped and died, he'd have to wait for us and/or go get a new chopper. and obviously, there was no way down without jumping. eventually he was like, come and pick me back up! we were all like, ok, but there's no place to land! then it hit me. i had our pilot level the chopper up - about 25' below his ledge and as close to the building as possible. what followed was one of the highlights of all my video game memories EVER. he wasn't chopped in half, but the best analogy is a baseball getting tossed into a whirlwind of baseball bats. just watching his dude freefalling and flailing - and then - THWAP! it didn't tell us he had died until about 60 seconds later. i wish i had a video...

anyone know of that jump across the river in Aldernay that's near your safehouse

what car did you use to jump across it? I tried an infernus but barely makes it. When it does make the jump, it gets totally flipped and won't land right.

is there faster cars or motorcycles than the infernus?

I grabbed a sport bike and made it on the first try, but I can't remember which one it was.

^the most I ever accomplished with the planes was climbing on top of a jetway before being ripped apart by gunfire from police helicopters

i still have not had a chance to play online. tried to sign on three more times tonight but it keeps giving me a "connection with one or more players lost" message so i gave up.

im starting to get a little more interested in the single player game though now. I do wish there was more to spend my money on though.

I think i set a personal new record today playing in wet work. After respawning i was probably alive a whole 0.5 seconds before i was stabbed by an enemy who was obviously chasing after my teammate who i barely caught a glimpse of running in front of me before dying.

the one where you have to rob the bank, and automatically get 5 stars... that junk is hard. the first time i went in with only health, got mowed down not even halfway thru. the second time i had health+armor, and made it thru the subways and into a 4 door car. by that time i had only ~15% health, and a cop shot me in the car at one of the roadblocks on the way back to packie's house. i don't mind playing missions over, but this one is LOOOOng as hell.

^that's one of the biggest downfalls to the game

you get a shitton of money early on in the game and never have to worry about money again

personally I think this game went downhill after San Andreas

don't get me wrong...the graphics are great and a lot of the new features in the game are awesome but I wish I could buy real estate, buy businesses that have side missions, gamble, fly airplanes, etc.

there is so much more that San Andreas had that this game doesn't
