Damn, Angelina Jolie as Catwoman?

I dunno how to feel about that...

obviously as lafta has pointed out, its hard to judge how someone would fill a role completely but I really do not like her as an actress and avoid most films she is in because she annoys me that much. But the real thing that I dislike (more than whoever the actress would be to play her) is the plain fact that they would bring catwoman into it.

For some reason female villains nearly always come off as campy to me and I can see this crew making it work to an extent but its a guaranteed blow to my interest.

yea exactly.

I feel like a female villain is almost necessary with Dawes dying.

im pretty sure she is not the main villain but it kinda makes sense that she will fill the love interest gap that rachel left behind

I don't think I would be as interested with just "Catwoman" either. Hopefully she will be a minor co-villian.

Mr. E

Mr. E. Nygma

JK that would be lame.

someone on another forum suggested the stitching on the prisoner with the bomb in him looked like a question mark, and that the "Bright lights! Like Christmas!" line could be the work of the Riddler helping out the Joker or something since it'd be hard for the joker to do all that while getting put in jail.

we'll see, I think they can pull off the riddler.

I wouldn't expect the riddler (or any upcoming villain, really) to have the same psychoticly drawn sketches on anything, newspapers or other wise. I could see riddler having a lot of question marks or something in say, clean magic marker print or cut out letters though.

"But was that the filmmakers' intention? According to two new tie-in books, no. In the movie novelization, author Dennis O'Neil wrote, "Dent was sprawled, neck twisted, the mutilated side of his face exposed, his left eye open and staring sightlessly. He was obviously dead."

And just to hammer the point home further, the script by Jonah and Christopher Nolan -- included in The Dark Knight: Featuring Production Art and Full Shooting Script -- states, "Dent lies at the bottom of the hole, his neck broken. DEAD." The capitalization is their emphasis not ours. And in a later scene, "Gordon stands on a podium at Dent's funeral. Behind him is a large photograph of Dent smiling.""

bummer

Damn, I wish they kept Dent alive. I do have a hard time seeing how they would have evolved him into a villain of grandeur from his current fallen angel status.

Dark Knight was phenomenal screenwriting. I freaking loved it. The film did have a few too many climaxes, and seemed to just KEEP GOING. But it turned out well regardless. And I though Heath was going to be really bad, but his Joker was great. True to the comics.
I didn't like Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne. His Batman is acceptable, but I don't picture Bruce Wayne as such a douche. Ah well.
And Aaron Eckhart did a great job. Especially when he screamed. I hadn't seen him scream before. It was intense.

I wanna see some Harley Quinn in the next one.

Quote :
"Jack Black or any of those idiots that get paid to be dumbasses better not come near this series."

And I totally agree with that. This series, especially with Dark Knight stepped it up a notch. They don't need idiots and miscellaneous comic relief that doesn't fit into the style.

^ Yeah, plus when Batman has the financial and logistical means to fly to Hong Kong and stage a kidnapping of one of China's most well-guarded personages, it starts to significantly narrow the list of Gotham City residents who could potentially be Batman's secret identity.

I thought it was getting to the point in this film where Bruce Wayne would have to reasonably be put under suspicion of being the Batman. His acting like a goof seems like almost an imperative.
