^ Other WR's are Wallace, Jordy, Percy & Demaryius Thomas (for now - probably dropping him for someone else). Not great, so I'm hesitant to let go of Mario, but Brown has been catching on.

This is a toughie.

Interesting situation I find myself in this week in my 12 team league.

My current team (as far as RB/WR, start 3 WR, 2 RB, no flex) as it stands:

Steve Smith
Hakeem Nicks
Dez Bryant
Brandon Lloyd
Pierre Garcon

Adrian Peterson
Ryan Matthews
Rashard Mendenhall
Jahvid Best

AP and Best are on bye which leaves me with just Mendenhall and Matthews. Injury report makes it look like Matthews could miss this week due to his groin, so I would have 1 RB active.

Guy just put Hillis on the block for a WR, and it looks like Hillis will play against the Texans even though he is listed as questionable. Would you offer either Garcon or Lloyd for Hillis and see if the guy bites?

Waiver Wire options are:
Felix Jones (looks like he will miss 1 more week)
Kevin Faulk
Javon Ringer
Mark Ingram
Ryan Grant
Donald Brown

Are any of the waiver wire options better than trying to trade Garcon or Lloyd for Hillis? Should I just stand pat and hope Matthews plays?

I'd offer Llyod, but I could see Faulk having as many points as Hillis to be honest, moreso if its PPR

I might be leaning KC on that one...but that seems like a toss up to me. Both have potential to have big weeks considering the opponent.

Pick 2: Nate Washington (vs CIN) or Julio Jones (@IND) or Michael Crabtree (@WAS)

^ I'd probably lean Julio & Crabtree if Jones is healthy.

^^ I'd go with KC's defense this week.

Eval this trade:
Jordy & Tolbert for Andre Johnson. Johnson owner has Ryan Matthews and wants Tolbert bad.

Also, picked up Michael Bush as my handcuff for DMC today. Traded BJGE straight up for him. Feel like I got a steal out of that one.

^That trade all depends on Johnson's health. If Johnson is healthy going forward, I'd probably make that trade. But Johnson's health is definitely a concern, IMO. Basically, if Johnson is going to play from here on out (assuming no new injury) then I'd do it...but I'd hate to make that trade and have Johnson be sitting out another week or 2.

AP is on a bye this week...so, James Starks (@SD) or Michael Bush (vs DEN)? 0.5 PPR, FWIW

Demarco Murray
Vincent Jackson

Giving up Jackson and Murray is pretty dumb for those two.

picked reggie wayne out of free agency hell, giving up Greg Little for him.

question now is, should i dump reggie wayne and sign Crabtree off Free Agency?

Pick my WR3:

Mike Williams (TB) @NO (he's been awful but TB could have to throw a ton and they mightve worked our kinks during bye)
Josh Cribbs @ hou (we get return yardage points and the browns coach said that cribbs could get a couple carries since they have so many rb injuries)

Pick two (0.5 ppr)

Mike Tolbert vs gb
Legarrette Blount @ no
Michael Bush vs Den
Mendenhall vs Balt

Last one, pick my te

Aaron Hernandez vs nyg
Jermichael Finley vs SD

^^ Fred is questionable and didn't practice today. SF gives up more points to TEs and Vernon isn't a great RZ tight end, but if Fred doesn't practice Friday I'd go forward with Vernon.

I posted my situation yesterday, so with that being quoted, I was offered this trade:

I give:
Pierre Garcon

I get:
Michael Bush

Do you do it?

or do I try to acquire Tolbert to handcuff Matthews?

What's the value of Mike Tolbert as a handcuff for Ryan Matthews? A decent #2 RB, a #2 WR, a #1 TE? Our league's Matthews owner wants him from me, but I've got to make him spend.

I also have graham, but we can play 2 TE's. My other RB's are foster and murray/jones (can only play 2 RBs).

Having hernandez and graham give me alot of flexibility which is why I did it.

Williams (should be his best week of the year)

Blount (finally healthy and only option)
Bush (DMC is more likely out than Mathews, and OAK is a run-first offense)

Baltimore's DEF is too unpredictable to play mendenhall over blount and bush. He could be solid, he could be shut down. It's 50/50 - so i play it safe and go with Blount and Bush.

TE, I go with Hernandez. Rodgers has simply too many targets, and Finley is hit or miss. Hernandez will get you points and is a better Red Zone threat.

^^,^ mostly agree with the above assesment
Williams
Blount and Bush if DMC doesn't play Mendy if he does
Hernandez, Finley is way too hit or miss

Need 3 (RB, WR, Flex):
Current starters in bold
DeMarco Murray (Sea)
Shonn Greene (Buf)
Sidney Rice (Dal)
Darrius Heyward-Bey (Den)
Reggie Wayne (Atl)

TE:
Fred or Vernon Davis

ok, crazy situation. I have Gates, Gronk and A Hernandez as my TE's. I've tried trading one of them but this is a 10 man league and no one wants to do it.

Who would you drop if you needed a QB for a fill in?

So I guess Bradshaw broke his foot and is out indefinitely with possible surgery?? Other reports are saying it's not so bad and might not get surgery.

Better get Jacobs on your rosters, and look into DJ Ware as a possible pickup.

OAK vs. DEN

Graham who is the only TE on the Saints vs Gronk who shares time with Hernandez.

Just made this trade:

Give: Mike Williams (TB) and Daniel Thomas

Get: Michael Bush and Mario Manningham

I have McFadden, so I could definitely use Bush as a handcuff. Also, Williams has been a bust this year despite getting targeted a lot.

Why would you veto that. The only, and I mean only, reason to ever veto a trade is if suspected collusion is going on. If someone agrees to be trade raped (I don't think that's the case here) then it's there own damn fault.

Hey-Bey (Den) or Reggie Wayne (Atl)

lol I don't know why I take flak seriously from a guy who asked the first 5 weeks if he should start McNabb

^taboo2k is right that I haven't been following much this week, so I cant say with any certainty what the Palmer situation is looking like in Oakland. I can't trust anything Indy is doing though, so Id probably roll the dice on heyward-bey

i think crabtree has better upside and potential for TDs. Gaffney has been a decent possession receiver this season, but expecting anything more than about 60 yards out of him is extremely optimistic.

pick one as a flex play:
j. battle vs miami
d. murray vs seattle
j. jones vs indianapolis

^I'm going with Battle.

I have Tebow v. Oakland, Matt Ryan v. indy, Fitzpatrick v. NYJ.

Matt Ryan seems like the clear winner, the only issue is Tebow scored 25 FP last year against oakland. But if he has another bad first half he could very well be benched which would be disastrous.
