I love the atmosphere created and how our coaches are going about business here. Reminds me of the photo of our football staff in a meeting room shortly after being assembled. Conducting ourselves like a professional organization. The culture upheaval over the last few years is fantastic.

actually he did projections for all the freshmen this year. Havent evaluated how he did, im sure there was a lot of hits/misses on something that tough to project though.

I'm not a Washington fan, dont think he'll make an impact next year. worth giving a scholly too though, we're desperate for big men

I like Washington a lot. Unless Anya can drop 30 pounds before the start of the year...I think Washington is going to have a much more productive freshman year.

Regarding the Randle visit and him being relatively quiet about it. Randle seems like a good guy and probably doesn't want to send out a bunch of false hope to any fanbase with a bunch of stupid tweets, etc.

Overall I am glad this UNC game went like it did. I don't think we could have asked/prayed for a better environment in the PNC than what we had on Sat. Randle will still be a tough land for us because UK still has the $$ and Calipari, Texas has the hometown angle, and UF looks like a legit national title contender and has Donovan.

you can't fault him for that at all. he's one of the best players in the country, and he's waiting to see how teams finish the season and who's leaving for the NBA and where other recruits decide to go. it's not necessarily trying to get attention.

if i was a highly regarded recruit, i'd damn sure take every bit of the time before signing. things change, coaches get fired, players go pro, ncaa ban hammers come down, etc. etc.

Some of you guys are dumb. He's allowed 5 visits and he's going to take all five. Guarantee you would too. He doesnt set the dates, the university does for the most part (obviously he agrees but they want to get him to a big home game usually). He's already said he's deciding shortly after his last visit. Anyone that thinks he's taking his time to gain attention needs to pay attention.

first of all, I am not saying the kid is stupid, or he is wrong to do this. However, only THREE of the top 20 recuits have yet to declare. Only TEN of the top 150 have yet to declare (and this is as of Dec 27th, I suspect a few more are off that list now) . These kids know that there will be a lot of fanfare being one of the last top recruits to be signed. So, lets not pretend that he hasnt had opportunities to make a good decision already. he is enjoying the limelight, I don't care what he says. I don't fault him in anyway for doing this, but I call 100% bullshit on his comment about not liking the attention.

Or it is possible like others have said that this kid has a good head on his shoulders. The problem with 18 year old kids is most of them are very impulsive and thats why we see so many kids committing to schools then weeks later switching. It is possible he just wants to use all the time alloted to him to make what he feels is the best decision for him going forward. Sure its possible this isnt the case but based on things I have read I wouldnt say its unlikely either.
