^^yeah, it can be pretty powerful. there's a lot of songs that's i've gotten really drawn to just because it sounded good and then when i catch the meaning behind the words it makes the song a million times better with me.

on the flip side, there have been a few songs that i've heard that are really catchy and sound innocent enough, but are about some creepy ass shit and i can't bring myself to listen to it anymore.
