A bun?

That's my default pull-back, anyway. I usually just wrap it around and get out my octopus hair clip.

I'm reluctant to do a bun because I have such a fat face

I guess what I want is some half up-do.

ooooooooh

is that just a twisted ponytail? (you know, like that inverted ponytail that was so hot in the 90s?)

i think it's a loose short french braid, like maybe 5 plaits at the back of the head. it's kind of annoying cuz you can't see it, i assume she's got some sort of sparkly barette holding it all together

French braids are out

I can't do them myself, and my bf...well, he's a fucking CSC grad

that would look good on you and it's pretty simple. Just put some product in your hair and scrunch it up a bit.

even just a simple half up/half down with a fancier barrette i think would look good. or i think you could do the inverted ponytail and make it look sort of like the fishtail french braid.

I would get every pair of shoes they have and then sell them on eBay. Too bad you can't really do that!

Is there a bebe at Crabtree now? It's been awhile since I've been but I want to say I remember them building one

Also, fun party dresses. Going to Vegas in Sept and I want to get one or two fun party dresses since it'll be A, hot and B, I don't think I can pull off wearing my favorite holy jeans out like I normally do . Advice on any stores besides Charlotte Russe, Bebe, Guess, Cache, and Express (and its affiliates) that you'd suggest?

yes there's a bebe upstairs now

also, forever21 is building a HUUUUUGE store down by Macys which i assume will be done by the end of summer. right now, you can find forever21 stuff in "gadzooks." you also have charlotte russe, wet seal, cache (if you want to find something a bit more expensive that will last longer), hudson belks upstairs department (they sell bcbg, betsy johnson, cynthia steffe, etc)

That dress requires a cami underneath it, unless of course you're in Vegas.

if anything it requires a good bra

and who around here sells plain white (no prints, no pattern, no lace) halter swim tops?

I can't find one anywhere

PSSSH! CAMI!? I'd totally rock that here in Raleigh.

I don't have the largest breasts in the world (quite the opposite actually) so my good bra will consist of a good wire, a good pad, and some double sided tape to keep the bra from exposing itself when I move around

Totally planning on stickin to my natural color, but what's the right way?

I don't have a lot of gray right now and it's mostly around my face and above my ears, although there are more and more sprouting along my part

Okay let me rephrase, I'd need a cami for that dress. My poor boobs are notorious for flopping out everywhere.

^^^The right way would be getting it done professionally. I mean yeah you're going to spend more, but you can get permanant color and you have less of a chance of it being messed up big time.

I mean unless you know someone who is really good at the do it yourself stuff.

its kinda difficult to fuck up the do it yourself hair dyes...but get a friend to help you though. You won't be able to do it yourself the first time. Get a color that is as close to your hair color as possible.

Posting it here before I take it to classifieds, and then craigslist

I've got WAY too many toiletries!
Some are things I got to try, and didn't like; got to try, but bought at the same time as something else, and liked the something else better; am allergic to; worked, but was eliminated in the interest of time.

Everything is free; if multiple people want it, OBO or whoever arranges for pickup first. Don't see that happening. Email dibs to textilesdiva@gmail.com; it's easier to keep track of that way

1 = didn't like
2 = allergic
3 = preferred something else/switched
4 = got for free/nearly free; won't use
5 = eliminated in the interest of time

Hair stuff:

(2) flat sample packs (0.28oz per unit) of Dove shampoo and conditioner (not 2-in-1s): 1 sheer moisture, and 1 therapy4

I love these shoes.

I can't find them ANYWHERE online, so it looks like I'm going to have to get them repaired (I've had them for going on two years, and they've seen a LOT of wear). Can anyone think of a better place to do so than ManMur?

Are they really fucking good? I already know ManMur is - I know someone who drives from Savannah, GA at least once a year because their custom work is that good (she has to get pretty major modifications on every pair of shoes she buys).

I don't. It's not healthy to wash your hair everyday unless if you have really oily hair...
