^^^those missions are not tied to the story at all. The only reason you would need to do them is if you're going for 100%. I'm pretty sure Roman's cab job's don't count towards 100% either.

Vice city was the first one i really playedd and finished and definitely my favorite. Though i did like the changes in SA and of course the graphics in this new one.

^ Once you unlock Algonquin Isle. You have to beat "blow your cover" from Elizabeta, which isn't that hard to do. There are two new clothes shops. The best one is downtown and has suits and nice stuff

not sure if its been posted but i found an easy way to get the "walk free" achievement (lose 4 stars)

go to the airport and have a car and just drive down the runway for a bit to get out of the wanted area, then it will go away, but you will get the 4 stars right back

^i actually beat it about 2 tries after i posted this.



The first time i went through it i made it out and into my car but died trying to get away.

then i think i just rushed through the cops every time after that and would get shot up before i even made it out the door. So the last time i just took it extra slow getting back out of the house and made it to the pay and spray. it was still hairy in that i almost blew up in that bobcat but was able to steal a willard with like 6 squad cars around me and somehow wheeled into the p&s without being seen.

if you let him live, he'll show up as a random character later on and you can do a mission for him.

if you're working towards 100%, it doesn't matter what you do.

i think you can find the friends throughout the game...just drive around all over the place, i mean ALL OVER THE PLACE like all side streets and shit, and look for the icons

course some of the friends show up or dont depending on the game...ie if you kill Dwayne's girl, so be it, but if you let her live she becomes one of the Friends later in the game...but if you killed her, thats just one less friend to find on your quest to 100%

i dont recall the specifics, but i thought i remembered her saying that her new man beat her, and niko wanted to fuck him up, and denise said dont kill him so i just beat him to like 90% and then he was like "OK MAN I'M SORRY I'LL NEVER GO NEAR HER AGAIN" and he sprinted off...I dunno what all you have to do with the friends though

ok, just picked this game up the other day and a few things.

I am terrible at the R2 gas and L2 brake, so I use the classic controls. The downfall here is that in order to aim the gun you have to idle as you take your hand off of the gas. Also same thing to look behind you. So, maybe I'll switch it.

Also, I suck at the combat controls. If someone wants to tell me how to sneak around and shoot and roll and everything, I missed all that at the beginning and it's killing me in the game.

Other than my issues there, its fucking fun as shit
