lol i don't really care about your debates about cnn, npr or aunt bertha's journalistic integrity

this junk tickles my fancy and i can rely on it to bring the funny graphics

actually, you care.

you just sublimate it into an interest for these types of pictures.

allowing yourself to lie about being "above the fray"

when you're just like the rest of us.

care about what?

look

somebody started a thread about fox news and i started noticing that whoever is doing the graphics on that front page has got a funny sense of humor and a really distinct design style

it's pretty lolcatish, but it's juxtaposed in the middle of some odd seriousness and straight-faced CMS, yet has this total other level of something else that i've been trying to track and figure it out

when they ran the "teenage dinosaur sex" image with the raptor smiling i was a fan for life and figured i'd keep it all in here

well this is a convenient explanation

but I don't buy it for a minute.

Edit: Maybe I do buy it as long as I can participate. From now on, whenever I say something negative about anyone or point out hypocrisy/contradictions/stupidity, I'm just cataloging something that I'm personally interested in and should not be taken as a moral or intellectual judgement.

This would be credible if you were not hotlinking their images. P.S. owned

hotlinking is fine, but it is not consistent with creating an "internet scrapbook" to record something that you are interested in and need to reference in your quest to "track and figure out"

let's face facts here... you're posting this stuff in an anti-fox thread, along with a lot of other kids who are posting the same stuff, for the purpose of taking cheap shots at an easy target.

that's all... you don't have to defend it with some hokie story about "internet research and lulzcats"... Save that story in case u or a friend ever gets busted for looking at naughty pictures

Just like Dan Rather is an easy target amongst conservatives.

I actually never knew those pictures were from Fox’s site. I thought Marko was taking them from Drudge Report and posting them here for comic effect.

Because they’re very Drudge-y.

Despite the idiocy in some of their graphics, i can’t fault them for making money from other peoples’ ignorance. That’s the American way™.

The IMPACT HEADLINES are indicative of Fox's overall status as yellow journalism. And they're hilarious.

That is isn't self evident to some people in this thread helps me understand why they have a market for their brand of news.

Can anyone explain to me how advising employees to avoid websites that could potentially spread malware is a freedom of speech issue? Fox news seems to think it is.

Speaking of Drudge... how does anybody even read that fucking site?

It's in all caps using typewriter font, and the layout and visual design are so fucking terrible that it's hard to tell where one thing ends and another begins. It's like it's designed for elderly dyslexic people who scroll their text up to full zoom and put their face so close to the screen to read one headline at a time that they can't actually tell how messy the thing looks as a whole. I'm not even saying the "elderly" thing because of their politics... it's just the only explanation I can come up with for such bad web design.

Maybe you can give them a nice ajax layout once you produce a site more popular than 112th in the world

"The Senate Sergeant-at-Arms, the chamber's official gatekeeper, said the Drudge Report, a news aggregator, and whitepages.com, a telephone directory site, "are responsible for the many viruses popping up throughout the Senate," according to an e-mail from the Environment and Public Works Committee obtained by FoxNews.com.

Another e-mail from a separate office warned that staffers who had visited the Drudge Report or White Pages had experienced viruses on their PCs.

"Please avoid using these sites until the Senate resolves this issue," the e-mail read. "The Senate has been swamped the last couples (sic) days with this issue.""

Quote :
"A spokesman for the Environment and Public Works Committee said the Senate Help Desk cited the Drudge Report and whitepages.com only as possible examples of Web sites generating pop-up ads that might be causing a recent increase in the number of virus infections.

"Our non-partisan systems administrator notified both Majority and Minority staff that this issue had been brought to her attention," the spokesman said in a written statement. "It is still not exactly clear where the increase in viruses is coming from, and staff have been advised to be cautious with outside Web sites at all times.""

Most hilarious political scandal ever?
'

So Massa 1st claims he was forced out by the white house for not voting for reform, then claimed abuse by rahm, and denied any other problems.

then goes on Beck's radio show then admits some sexual harassment and claims corruption in the white house.
So Beck put him on his Fox show, big buzz, even John Boehner tells reporters to watch Beck.

this is what resulted

"Can anyone summarize the Beck-Massa exchange"

What beck was expecting:
accusations of physical and verbal assaults on Rahm and the obama administrations, accusations and proof of corruption in the whitehouse

what beck got:
Massa talking about tickle fights in the navy, which in his mind explains all the groping he has been accused of and admits to. Homeboy even brought a book w/ pictures to explain and perhaps promote the great Navy pastime of tickle fighting. He's obviously a closet homo.
He also talks about meeting Rahm Emanuel in the gym showers, while both were naked, and massa talks more about nudity than he does about what his conversation was between them.
He denies being or feeling threatend.
apologizes to rahm for his past over the top accusations.
apologizes to the white house for claiming that they pushed him out.

so when beck finally gave up all hope and asked for the bombshell information that Massa came here to share, Massa says we need campaign finance reform.
Beck turns to the camera and says "sorry america, ive wasted an hour of your time"

funniest ish ive seen in a while

Did anyone hear about his show the day prior? He told people to leave their Church if it gives money to poor people; compared it to Naziism.

its a story on a report done by the Census saying that this year will likely mark the first time ever that there will be more minority births in the US than white births.

you see, its a JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS mat. there is a mat, with a bunch conclusions on it you can jump to.
