i too took a sleeping pill. this stuff works really well for me i don't know why. i have been taking it instead of tylenol pm if i don't have a headache or anything.

^^ I just dug out all the other laundry bits, shook them out, threw some of it in the washer, then continued with Operation: Who is the fucking stupid ass redneck piece of shit that put this place together?

The current item of annoyance: Toilet paper dispenser. They didn't use the hardware that came with it to install it, oh no. There's one screw which looks like it's some sort of wood screw with some sort of crappy drywall anchor that just ripped out of the wall (I think it was meant to be used somewhere else) and then there's this 4" long bolt with some dinky ass piece of metal with a spring on it that was used to hold the other side of the TP dispenser in the wall.

Ripped both out, now i'm going to patch the wall up somewhat and install the new one.

I really do hate this place.

I think it was a japanese beetle, and they've nosed through here a couple times. The thing is he was somehow embedded in a towel that was part of the way under my bed from a prior laundry trip. I've had laundry piling up in my room for about a month now because my roommate keeps nabbing the machine when I get around to doing it, lol.

There's definitely not a problem with roaches or any crap like that here. Most of what I see are the odd spider (mostly because I keep the windows and sliding door open (with the screens in place) at night to keep the place cool).

The problem I have right now is mostly that the company/people who constructed the Avery Close apartment complex (off of Avent Ferry Rd) made shortcuts on the dumbest freaking things. These places could've been fantastic if they had invested just a few thousand extra dollars in each apartment in greater attention to detail, better insulation, and better finishing (i.e. not being sloppy lazy asses who deserve to be dragged out into the street, flogged, chastised, beaten, then shot, set on fire, and pissed upon).

on other news, that really sucks, I could live with bugs/beetles but it would be an ordeal cause I can't stand those things and an if an apt. complex can't get rid of 99% of them then they need to step it up, or do something differently

They need to get rid of the indians.

Period. They are trying not to be racist about it, but they sent around memos about how certain individuals who have been "traveling overseas" have brought bedbugs into the apartment complex and to call the front office immediately if you suspect there are bedbugs in your apartment.

They sent around some guys to spray the bathrooms for insects recently, but they make no active effort to police the outside of the place. I don't know if the property management company knows it yet but they're going to be thrown out on their ass soon. A recent HOA/COA meeting voted for a change in management. This would be a good thing because the current company (Wilson Property Management) has been squatting in the club house for this complex for 20 years. They milk at least $2k extra off of this property each month for not having to pay for office rent and associated utilities.

We've had issues with the guys above us as well on both sides (we have a garden style apartment and on each half there's a 2 story townhome above us). They're extremely destructive individuals who are more or less responsible for my ceiling drywall falling apart. My dad owns the place so I more or less get stuck with doing the minor fixes I can do from time to time.

I'm doing my best to fix this place up for somebody else before I move out though. I'm not letting this place fall apart into a shithole like the previous owner did.
