It's often better to not get drafted than to be a 2nd-round pick. A sought-after undrafted guy can take his pick from the camp invitations of multiple teams and find the best fit. A 2nd-rounder has no choice, and can be cut at any time because his contract isn't guaranteed like 1st-rounders are.

^ I think you're trying to over think us being cut. Randle narrowed his list down to 4 (or 5? I don't remember) and we didn't make the cut. He just wanted to go to a different school. We just weren't one of his finalists.

When he got his list down to 7, it wasn't necessarily his final list. In fact, most recruits narrow their list to 3-5 before announcing. I don't really see anything too strange about it.

Im not sure he will ever say what it was, but I have to assume it was likely our lackluster season. Thats just my opinion but I always thought we were only going to stay in it if we had the season we were expected to have.

It'll be interesting to see Kentucky's chemistry next year. All of their starters this year will probably be back-up players next year. Of course, they could all probably quit and it wouldn't make a difference.

unfortunately one of their recruits is the #1PG in the nation, Andrew Harrison. Who also is the trin brother of the #1SG who will join him in the back court.

They have the #1 PG, #1 SG, #3 SF (Wiggins is the #1 SG), #1 PF and #1 C in the class according to ESPN

the ncaa has no ability to force kids to stay in school. the nba would have to make that decision via draft rules, just like mlb does.

The college rule works for MLB since most players have to spend that amount of time in the minors anyway. And iirc, you can be on a college team while having a minor league contract.
