Apparently our office has really crappy temperature distribution, so while the people along one wall are pretty hot, my hallway is freezing. Of course they stuck four women on the hall, and we all run our heaters almost all the time. 6/9/2008 11:56:04 AM |
neodata686 All American 11577 Posts user info edit post |
That makes so much sense. It's 100 degrees out but the AC is too cold so you run space heaters. Lol. Have you tried closing the supply vents? 6/9/2008 12:00:45 PM |

tell him you'd be saving him money. Blocking off the ac vents would save the company the money of running the ac in that section AND eliminating the space heaters. Having the ac in your area PLUS the space heaters is very counter-productive. 6/9/2008 12:04:11 PM |

because i'm designing an hvac system and running loads in order to avoid the problems you're having for a new office building being built.
[Edited on June 9, 2008 at 12:27 PM. Reason : and moving the thermostat to a different part of the office will change the temp distribution] 6/9/2008 12:24:42 PM |

My house AC failed but luckily it just needed freon. I was scared I'd have to get a new unit.
I've done a total of no more than 2 hours of work today and I've been here 5 hours so far. The person I need to talk to about a project is always away from her desk, either meeting with someone, out of the office, or goofing off in the break room. 6/11/2008 3:03:39 PM |
