this is one of the conundrums of old age

i like to go out....just not often...

when i go out i like to get started early...with the good intentions of stopping equally early in order to get a good night's sleep and not feel like ass in the morning...because i'm going to wake up early regardless of what time i go to sleep

i have older friends that like to do the same thing...

then i have my young friends that like to start partying at 10-11...and stay up all night because they sleep all day the next day anyway...


here lies the problem...the only way i'll definitely go out is to start early...but then i'll inevitably meet up with the young people (having a solid 4 hours of drinking on them) and end up staying out all night with them...then i'll still be awake by 6 a.m.

life is ruff
