When I lived in Becton you could eat lunch at Case until they opened Clark the second semester of my freshman year. I can't remember if breakfast was allowed, but I do know dinner was not an option.

I'm going to call bullshit. I was the president of Sullivan Hall and I was not able to give my friends such privileges. I moved in when the RAs did but even my roommate had to wait for normal move-in day.

Marching band folks and maybe international students moved in early, too, but iirc no one else could.

I happened to watch Tulane playing on one of the ESPNs this season. I stumbled across it and saw Josh Davis playing and watched the game specifically to watch Josh Davis. He is a slasher with limited back to the basket moves he will NOT fill Howells role. NCAA still lists him at 6'7" btw and #4 and #5 on the list of offensive rebound leaders were both 6'5" so I am not exactly sure what you were trying to prove with your fairly meaningless statement. Davis would be a huge asset to the team but Washington or Anya (or Vandy...) will have to be able to play the majority of minutes at center for us to be effective.

Kyle Washington is also 6'9" and presumably 18 years old which means he can and likely will bulk up. Short of getting fat Davis is not going to change his body significantly and his game has never been to be a true post player. Gavin Grant was listed at 6'8" 208lbs would it have been smart for us to put him at the 5?

Or maybe, just maybe, Gottfried will tweak his system to make best use of our most talented players, rather than giving major minutes to guys who aren't ready?

I mean it's not like UNC just went from being terrible to good this year the moment Roy embraced the concept of starting his 5 best players rather than shuffling through a group of post players who simply weren't ready. Oh, wait. They did. They started one of the softest big men in the ACC at the 5 (McAdoo), a guy who never posted up and shied away from contact on D. They didn't even have a power forward.

If we get Davis, then he starts alongside Warren in the high post and neither Anya, Vandy nor Washington will average more than 10-12 minutes per game in ACC play. Mark it down.
