Meeks won't be asked to contribute much next season, esp if they land Wiggins. But I could see UNC getting him into playing shape and then taking advantage of his skill-set.

Wouldn't surprise me if by his junior year(since he's definitely a 4-year player) if he's not pissing us all off as a regular starter for them.

Will be interesting to compare Anya and Meeks over the next 3-4 years to see how they develop physically.

I don't see how Wiggins (a wing) effects how many minutes Meeks plays. McAdoo staying another year means Meeks won't see big minutes, but Wiggins basically has no effect.

Say what you want about Anya, but he looks like a body builder compared to Meeks. To me, Anya is just a BIG dude with a little bit of fat. Meeks is just fat.

That said, I expect Meeks to be in pretty good shape by his junior year. All of UNC's guys typically are.

With Wiggins they probably use a small lineup, without they probably go back to a bigger lineup where Meeks could see more minutes.

Thomas Hamilton committed to DePaul. We offered him a while back, but don't think we were really pursuing anymore. On the plus side, that gives DePaul 6 big men (6' 8" - 6' 10") on next year's roster, which gives Nard Dog another reason to not go there.

If you don't count juco (Johnson and Lee) or foreigners (Vandy), we haven't had a recruit from west of the Mississippi, much less Texas, since before 02 (that's how far scout and rivals go back)
