i've been playing that NBA Street: Homecourt for the last couple days...fun game...NBA Jam on steroids...not gonna buy it though...fun to rent and play for maybe a week or two

^I have Homecourt, and I love it. Almost too easy to get 1000 achievement points. The only hard achievement is the 10 consecutive wins online.

I love the direction that NCAA Football 08 is going. Graphics may not be as detailed as last year, but the gameplay is getting better.

I had a giftcard to Circuit City (which I never shop at) so I got an XPort. Rosters ftw for NCAA and all the 2k7 games!

And yeah, once you figure out the sliders MLB 2k7 is just about the best sports game I've ever played...

these sliders for the win. really realistic games so far. I've only played 3 but I'm 2-1 and the games were 7-3 (Glavine loss), 5-2 (El Duque win), and 8-5 (Maine ND; Heilman win). They are for swing stick but I use classic hitting. Also, the pitching is MUCH, MUCH better with Zone as opposed to payoff or whatever it's called. Fun game...

anbody played Pimp My Ride? somehow that got to the top of my Gamefly queue...all the reviews have been like 2/10 but I think its kind of fun...DEFINITELY a rental, not something to buy...but you can play it for a little while and enjoy it

but they do incorporate the things from teh tv show, like when XZibit initially goes to meet the person and get the car...and at the end when they show how you hooked it up...kinda lame but a nice break from COD3 and NBA Street Homecourt

Is there going to be a price drop on the 360 anytime soon?

Its too fucking expensive, 400 for a normal xbox (i dont consider the core system)

or 500 for the black one

after taxes, a few games, guitar hero, and a couple controllers, we're looking at like 800 bucks in damage.

I don't think so. I think it's going to be like this until next year around this time. I think June or July 2008, the 360 may have a price drop. Don't hold me to it though.

I can't imagine they'd have a price drop before arguably their biggest 2 games coming out in a few months. That being Halo 3(the console's star) and GTA IV(big game in itself).

With GTA being an October release and Halo 3 being a November release, you have to imagine that there's no way they'd look to lower prices until after at least Christmas.

So I think this time next year might be a pretty accurate estimate on when you may see a $50-100 price drop.

a 50 dollar price drop is really not a lot. i mean its better than no price drop at all, but if you are planning on spending 400, 350 is no a big of enough difference to wait it out. in fact 100 is not enough to wait it out, although 100 is a mighty generous price drop which i doubt will happen for the first price drop. i predict 3 price drops, and the console will plateau at 199.99 or 219.99.

i think i ran up on carlito with chainsaws, got shot once, but got in a lick or two on him and he dipped...cant recall

also make sure you're leveled up a bit

Yeah if you get the mini-chainsaws from the crazy ass clown then you'll be set, those things are ridiculously over-powered and the clown isn't that hard to beat.

I think one time I just waited for him to shoot at the cop with you(can't remember his name) and then ran up and kept getting closer to him. Then I just used those chainsaws and tore him up.

The first time though when I wasn't so leveled up it took a bit more work and I think I just used guns and kept waiting for him to shoot at the cop and then unloaded a few on him and then went back into hiding. Make sure you carry enough health though if you are indeed low-level. Also I got up close to him with the swords and just kept slicing so he couldn't get a shot off.

And the clown is found at the roller-coaster if you haven't found him yet.

i need to get back on Dead Rising...i played the shit out of it and got around 600-700 gamerpoints and more importantly beat the game with the happy ending...however i only found one of the two zombies in the tunnel (white chick, black dude) and didnt spend the couple hours of driving back and forth to get the 10,000 killed, etc...and never got past like day 4 of the survival mode...always a fun game though...especially with a few chainsaws and the books that multiply their uses!

also the one tool in the hardware store thats like a massive drill is pretty dope

I only have pistols (4) to use on him (and it was a bitch getting those)...

when I shoot at Carlito, I'm on target, but it doesn't seem like he gets hit. This game is cool, but this part if super frustrating.

^get better weapons for that part...i'd have a couple things of orange juice for health, and if you dont have the chainsaws, get a rifle or if you do have just pistols, do what LudaChris said and make/let him shoot the black cop and while he's reloading, shoot carlito a couple times

also with anything in dead rising, leveling up helps

i beat him once using pistols but it was a pain in the ass. just have to hide behind a corner and then pop out, shoot twice then hide again and hope he doesnt come down to attack you closer. getting the SMG from the fountain in that area of the mall helps a little bit too.

I just got my 360 the other week, is there any way I can get my original xbox game saves on to the 360? I know it is backwards compatible for the most part, so there must be some way to copy or migrate them over.

Are the memory cards the same? I never bought one for either system, but will if I can move saves from the original xbox and plug it into the 360 and copy them off.

i finally broke down and bought gow last night. the campaign is ok, very repetitive, but in a good way; the weapons/aiming if par at best (except the chainsaw), adding to that, i hate a game were you pretty much only need the default weapon for the entire time; there should be an upgrade system. now the mp is fun, but i can see it dying out on me sooner than later, or maybe not.

Thats like saying "I'm disappointed with this t-shirt, i really wanted something i could wear to a black tie affair."

if you were looking for the wrong thing you can't be disappointed in what you found but yourself for not knowing what you wanted.

there are PLENTY of non realistic driving games... for example burnout.

(also try taking all driving aids off cept abs)

thats fine and all, but it is a driving game none-the-less. i wouldnt buy it cuz i know what id be in for. that said, when you buy a game you expect to have fun and if it is a good sim, but not overly fun then nobody is winning. that said, forza is supposed to be pretty good.

some people, like me, find realistic simulators to be fun already.
