What's sad is unless we just blow the crap out of VT, we still won't get respect from a lot of people. If we lose then everyone will say we are overrated and just got beat by a team that lost to James Madison. If we don't win convincingly then people will say oh well VT isn't that good this year anyway. I seriously think we could go undefeated and win the ACC this year (I know probably not going to happen) and people would still say "oh well the ACC sucks this year, case in point by NC State winning the conference, they are going to get blown out in their bowl game."

I'm fine with us not getting any respect though. Serious question, how many more wins would make you happy with this season? I'm still maintaining that as long as we get to a bowl and win it I will be happy since I didn't expect much this season.

honestly IF we had to chose one game to lose then the VT game would be one of the best to pick. Bring our team back to reality after an unexpected 4-0 start, and lose to a team that many projected to win the ACC if not more. No loss is great but a loss to VT wouldn't be the worst we could have this season

oh - the "schedules" shit on espn.com didn't say ABC, which they usually don't if it's a local broadcast i think. so i figured we were on the acc network.

but the acc's website says ABC and the noon game is the ACC network game, so i guess espn's website is wrong.

Gotta admit, this is pretty much TOB's ceiling. The unc's are not saying directly fear as in losign to us but they mean we won't ever be some national powerhouse under tob. We'll never be a team like alabama or ohio state thats always in the top 10. They are fine with losing to us in football, as long as we aren't a powerhouse.

all the games listed are possible losses. VT is tough, I dont give a damn who they've lost to, BC always gives us problems and ECU has an explosive offense. I'd probably take 3-1 out of that slate if you offered it to me now

for VT. one thing we know, Boise is legit and VT wasn't. for some reason, sportswriters have not learned to make the ACC earn those accolades.

we've beaten every team we've played so far for one reason, we are more disciplined. When you play more disciplined, it allows talent to eventually shine thru.

TOB said the thing he's proudest of was how we responded after that pick 6 at VT; all business.
