I have Brees, Arian Foster and Matt Forte. I'm talking to a guy about a trade that has Cam Newton, Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice.
Basically I want to know what your thoughts for the rest of the season are on
Cam vs. Brees Forte vs. Ray Rice
I realize A.P. and Foster are both studs and probably equal.
I'm not exactly sure how both of us traded our way to such good teams(10 team league). 11/11/2011 4:50:01 PM |

I believe he'll trade me Cam for Brees straight up, you think Cam will keep being slightly better? I was thinking of proposing Forte and Brees for Rice and Cam. 11/11/2011 5:15:05 PM |

^^Hard to say, but I think Tate.
^ Jackson imo.
Pick one:
Bears D/ST vs Lions
or
Jaguars D/ST at Colts (Had 2 weeks to prepare against colts Offense, and play Browns next week so back to back good weeks)?
thoughts? 11/12/2011 11:14:04 AM |

at this point, I would not sit Fred Jackson, he is a top 3 RB in the league right now
Colts suck, go with Jax. Painter or Orvolasky wont do shit.

Flex Position, Pick one!
Reggie Wayne vs Jax ESPN projections: 6 Ben Tate vs TB ESPN: 5.5 Michael Jenkins vs GB ESPN: 8.5
its a .5 PPR, with bonus points for long runs/receptions, and 100 yards. 6 points a TD

I'd be inclined to go with Tate. I think it's a good matchup (vs TB) and the other options aren't exactly great either. I think Tate has more upside.
Help with my WR3 spot...need to start 1: Mike Williams (vs HOU), Reggie Wayne (vs JAC), Michael Crabtree (vs NYG), Torrey Smith (@SEA)? 11/12/2011 11:56:33 AM |

Pick my 3 wrs this week. We get 0.5ppr and return yardage points
Jordy Nelson vs min Percy Harvin @ gb Julio Jones vs NO Desean Jackson vs ari
I'm leaning toward benching jordy, but part of me wants to bench djax 11/12/2011 9:06:03 PM |

I would bench Jackson because he has done nothing the past 4 games....most of vicks passes are going to Celek and Maclin now 11/13/2011 6:30:25 AM |

^Last week Jackson received 8 targets while the guys you mentioned each received 9. And Arizona's db's aren't as good as Chicago's. So he coooould break out today I suppose.
I'm torn between Jackson and Nicks and Battle myself.
Nicks's highly questionable status is KILLING ME.

DeSean Jackson is inactive today for missing a team meeting, so that should help a few of you out. ^Looks like Nicks is a game time call and he plays late, so I would go with Battle to be safe.
I know this is a stupid question, but:
Nate Washington @ Carolina or Blount vs. Houston
Also Mike Williams vs. New Orleans Eric Decker @ KC or Garcon vs. Jax

^Blount and Decker has been hot lately.
I have Brandon Lloyd, Pierre Garcon, and Nicks for my 3rd WR. With Nicks being questionable do I risk playing him at 4 or do I have to take the sure bet and play Lloyd? 11/13/2011 10:16:35 AM |
montclair All American 1372 Posts user info edit post |
it may just not be worth taking the chance. I'm putting Nicks on the bench. 11/13/2011 10:36:35 AM |
daddywill88 All American 710 Posts user info edit post |
^ don't be afraid to go with Lloyd that's still a good play.
Current starters in bold Vernon (NYG) or Fred Davis (Mia)
Reggie Wayne (Jax) or Sidney Rice (Bal)
And I can't belive I'm asking this, but look at Tebow's last 4 games (16,21,12,23) vs Brady's last 4 games (14,16,15,15). Plus the matchup is in Tebow's favor. Tom Brady (NYJ) or Tim Tebow (KC) 11/13/2011 10:37:32 AM |
DROD900 All American 24658 Posts user info edit post |
tough ones there, but I would stick with who you have in bold. I have a really hard time advising to play Tebow over Brady, but if there was ever a week to do it, it would be this week given the matchups and fantasy numbers the last couple of weeks.
pick my RB2:
Beanie Wells @ Philly (hes supposedly healthier now, and playing a Philly team that can be run on, but Kolb isnt starting so they will likely face 8 in the box, and they could be in a hole early)
Legarrette Blount vs. Houston (they could get in a hole early here too, and we've seen what happens to TBs running game when that happens) 11/13/2011 10:45:14 AM |
Matlock All American 1255 Posts user info edit post |
^^Rice is probable, but earlier today they listed him as inactive. As far as Tebow vs. Brady, it's probably a toss up given the jets good pass D. Brady would be the safer play and Tebow probably has more upside compared to Brady vs. the jets.
^That's a tough one, I am leaning towards Blount at home, but Wells should get a ton of touches today. Wells may have a bit more upside but I would few Blount as the more solid starter.

last one for me (this is actually for my wife's league)
pick 2 WRs - 0.5ppr - she already had Vincent Jackson lay an egg as her 3rd WR
AJ Green vs. Pit (supposedly theres 20-30 mph winds in Cincy today) Dez Bryant vs. Buf (Miles Austin is out so he should be the man, but hes super inconsistent) Dwayne Bowe vs. Den (matched up with Champ Bailey) 11/13/2011 11:20:21 AM |
Matlock All American 1255 Posts user info edit post |
Hate to say it, but you got to go with Byrant. The steelers pass d has been decent this year, and champ is starting to lose a step or two so I would go with Bowe. 11/13/2011 11:31:11 AM |

^^definitely AJ (I trust harvard man to be able to account for everything Pittsburgh, both the D and the weather, will throw at him), and I'd also probably go for Dez, although it looks like he will not be doing any returns if you were banking on that. Buffalo's secondary is dangerous, but they aren't gonna get much pressure on Romo, so he should be able to lay some in there for him 11/13/2011 12:01:21 PM |
