There's no question UVA will lose their next game. Duke is liable to lose to Miami, though it probably won't happen, and UNC unfortunately will win.

Zaga is a huge fraud team. Just beat up on shit squads as the only team with more than 1 big in the conference and jack 3s.

We'd lose to them because our team shits themselves against 7 footers but they still are the weakest 1 seed in years.

just because UNC won @Clemson tonight (same W/L result as we had @Clemson) and Virginia got a quality win vs Duke tonight (which we got in January) doesn't mean we're somehow a shitty team now

but it will be interesting to see how the 3/4/5 seeds shake out

not only that, but UVA and UNC are only 1 game back from Duke for the 2 seed...if Miami beats Duke, things could get really interesting as far as ACC tourney seedings from 2-12

look at our games against potential 1 seeds (michigan, miami, duke)

look at our games against 2nd tier teams (oklahoma state)

it seems pretty debatable. Traditionally we play better against teams that everybody knows are good as opposed to teams that are really good but don't pass the public eye test.

^lol, we don't need other teams to lose. All we need is to win a few games. Stone cold locks? no. However, there aren't a ton of stone cold locks out there. With the exception of the Top 15 or so, if any other team lost their remaining games, they would be squarely on the bubble or OUT. As of this time, we are IN...easily. We win our remaining games, we continue to be IN...easily. Just like every other team out there. Good gracious some of you people are insufferable. SHOW ME ANYTHING that shows us on the bubble. Tbh, it's probably BETTER for a bubble team to not get the bye because you get an extra potential W.

I don't know about you fuckers, but I'm still pretty excited about the possibility of winning the ACCT and making some serious noise in the NCAA tourney.

Watching team after team in the top 5 lose to shitty/mediocre teams on the road is a little comforting. There are no dominant teams. Everyone else is losing on the road just like we are. There are some really good team, but there isn't any team that we can't beat if we're clicking on all cylinders. This isn't like the year we had Hodge and choked in the Sweet 16 to Wisconsin. We weren't getting past UNC in the Elite 8 anyways. Or even last year...when UK would have destroyed us and we would have to have played ungodly to get by others.

There's potential. I just wish I could fast forward to the opening round of the ACC tourney. I'm tired of waiting.

I've been a State fan for far too long to forget how many seasons we were primed for success and choked it away for various reasons. This season has been a roller coaster for sure, and bad for my mental health

If we win out (which we are completely capable of doing), I think we will have turned the corner and be ready to make some noise in both tournaments. The @ FSU game is HUGE.

Obviously I'd like to run the table in the regular season (and I think we should be able to)...but I'm not even going to be that upset if we drop one at FSU or Gtech. We're not good on the road and neither is anyone else in the country.

I'm ready to get on a neutral court where all the chips are on the table and fucking go at it. I'm pumped.
