went to the Red and White store to load up on gear while wearing an 83 shirt with Whittenburg, Lowe, and Bailey on it. saw Whittenburg walk in behind me, but was too nervous to say anything. he spotted my shirt and said, “hey! that’s me on that shirt!” and came over and dapped me up and posed with me while it seemed like everyone in line took our picture

So, in 1983 the nc state men's college basketball team won a national championship. At some point, someone made a shirt commemorating that championship featuring 3 of that teams top players. At another, presumably future, point TGL acquired the shirt, either by purchase, gift, inheritance or other means. That's pretty much the story.

Apparently they decided they aren't putting any in boxes until tomorrow. I went by Talley around 3:20ish and there wasn't a line, though they only had a few bundles on hand so maybe there was a mad rush right before that.

I wasted like 3 hours today getting a copy....kinda wish they had just partnered with the bookstore or another campus entity with an online store and sold them like a preorder item to ship out later.
