RALEIGH, NC (June 12, 2006) - Carolina Hurricanes fans planning to greet the returning team at RDU on Tuesday afternoon are advised of the following airport guidelines issued by the Airport Authority.

WHERE TO PARK
The team's charter flight arrives in a private hanger at the north end of the airport. Due to the expected number of fans, RDU is opening the Park and Ride 2 lot and fans will be directed to park there free of charge during the event. Please do not block roads or park illegally.

HOW TO GET TO PARK AND RIDE 2
Take I-40 to I-540. Exit on Lumley Road, and take a right. At the next stoplight, take another right on to International Drive. Stay on International Drive until you see signs for parking in Park and Ride 2.

Finally, please do not bring grills, alcohol, weapons or balloons. Also, please pick up your trash and take it home with you.

If you have questions or need more information, please contact Denning at 919-840-7707. Please do not call for updated arrival information.

Since i was brought up again i guess i have to make another trolling comment, for you all that posted "Hockey is Canada's Raleigh's Game", really its not since most of the players are foreign and many come from canada. So by saying hockey is raleigh's game and not canada's you are contridicting the play of cam ward who many of you refer to as god and is from canada

hmmm, i actually think edmonton has very little chance in game 5, I felt that had a really good chance to even it up on monday (before the game I mean, since it was obvious they had a good chance once the game was played), but now that it's 3-1, I really don't see them taking game 5 away from the canes
