I'm going to ask this again. Is there any legitimate reason as to why Texas is a lock in the MNC over Cincy or even a 1-loss Alabama or Florida?

Should Cincy win out they are a virtual lock for the #2 in the computers (as they are assured of finishing ahead of Texas already and would jump the loser of the SEC championship -- especially if UF loses).

Texas has played exactly one team currently in the team Top 25 -- Oklahoma State. They will not play another one no matter what the rest of the year. The Big XII, quite simply, is awful. A true shitfest. The top four conferences are head and shoulders above the Big XII and Big Ten in every computer ranking. I mean it's not even close.

Miles looked drunk, was barely understandable in his "speech", and then actually made a reference to a YouTube video that he said was incorrect in it's depictions of his actions. I have never thought Miles was a great coach; even the year they won the title they lost two games (granted, so did everyone else) but they were close to losing 2 or 3 more games. I have seen nothing from him overall to make me think he is an elite level coach. Maybe as a recruiter, but not as a gameday coach.

Miles is really, really good in most aspects of coaching: Recruiting, motivation, public relations, leadership, off-field mentoring, hiring good assistants, and more.

But as a game manager, Miles is THE WORST of the nation’s FBS coaches, and it’s not even close.
