Arian Foster looks to be the real deal. I don't see anyone in Houston taking that away from him. MJD is stuck on a terrible team that isn't going to get better for several years.

I guess it can't get much worse but I don't expect a coaching change to fix that team instantly. It will take them several years to be considered a playoff team. They need a new QB more than anything.



Ok so I have a dilemma, I need to pick a DEF this week. I have SD currently but they are playing NE and I have feeling that Tom Brady is going to light them up.

I picked up SF because they are playing CAR who is a turnover machine. However, I have a feeling that Carolina could roll with Smitty back in the lineup.

The other notable defenses (with good matchups) that are still available in the league are: PHI vs TN, NE vs SD, STL vs TB, KC vs JAX and WAS vs CHI.

Washington is but Seattle is not. I know CHI's O-Line is bad but WAS isn't great against the run (24th to be exact) and Forte could hit them up. Plus, the Redskins are dead last in total overall defense.

^^ I don't like the idea of starting them both. Barber has been terrible thus far and the Giants have a great rush D. If you start Miles Austin, Felix Jones, and Marion Barber, one is almost guaranteed to not have a big game.

Yeah you guys make some pretty good points. I would actually have to drop Tolbert to pick up Barber if he clears waivers tonight in the first place. I definitely have the flex spot to play the tandem, but I guess relying on the Cowboys for 3 roster spots is iffy.

My thought process was putting Barber and Tolbert as equals in terms of points. I figured he couldn't really do worse than Tolbert.

So for clarification it would be SJax, Jones, Barber vs SJax, Jones, Tolbert.

^I feel like pettigrew will probably be more consistent, but shianco will probably have more total points... their schedules are pretty similar

^^^ Doesn't Joseph Addai have a dead shoulder? Seems like Brown could finally get some playing time if his hamstring is better after the bye. Tolbert has put up mediocre numbers against Stl and Oak, and Matthews is getting healthier. I'm interested to hear what people think about Tolbert at this point in the season because he was dropped in my league as well, and I'm weak at RB.

I'd start Lewis. Mcfadden doesn't sound healthy, so I'd keep an eye on the injury reports.

Should I risk Cooley as my TE this week, or should I pick up Benjamin Watson, John Carlson, Jermaine Gresham, or Greg Olsen?

If I do need to make a move, it would involve dropping Cooley, so would any of the TEs listed be better for the remainder for the year? Of course I could just keep him as it seems he may play.

^That's a tough call. I picked up Watson in one of my league's this week since Clark is done. I really don't know...seems like a toss up to me.

I'm thinking Driver, but he hasn't necessarily been that great this year. Moore has been streaky, but has big game potential.

As for Cooley, he is still questionable but Shiancoe has been so awful that I'd rather take Cooley's 2 or 3 pts a week vs Shiancoe's zero that he got me last week

^My gut says Driver simply because of the emotional game against the Vikings but I'm not sure. Its tough to predict who Brees is gonna throw to on any given week.

straight up or are there other people involved? I don't think there is enough good reasons to make that trade particularly profitable. It is more a matter of it you want your players to pay out right now or in a few weeks. Moss will start getting his again soon, but maybe not this week. LT is getting his now but he is getting old and it is only a matter of time before he gets injured and then replaced on the depth chart.

It's a straight up trade. I'm weak at RB2 at the moment (Moreno, Lynch, Shonn Greene), but my receivers are all decent. I may just see how things play out this Sunday. If Moreno and Lynch show some life, I won't be as tempted to take the trade.
