They did quite a bit better. But if you wind the clocks back a year and look at how each fanbase was feeling about the program going forward it is pretty funny. Unfortunately for them, PJ was not however back for Kentucky.

I think they were preseason top 15 or 10. They were a rollercoaster at the beginning of the year...went through a crazy hot streak in the middle...then fizzled out towards the end. They ended up as a fringe top 25 team.

We were preseason bottom of the ACC barrel. We started off okay, went through a smaller, but similar of a rollercoaster of a season. We finished pretty strong and probably ended up a top 40ish team.

They had a better year...but not by much...especially considering the pre-season expectations.

we exceeded expectations (7th instead of 10th, made ACC semnifinals, made NCAA round of 64), but didn't really do much. they did a lot (beat several top teams), but didn't live up to expectations (didn't seriously contend for the ACC, didn't make the Sweet 16). they did better, but its basically a wash. if anything, we at least had the ACC POY and made the NCAAs when even we didn't think we would.

Yeah that team was supposed to be one of the stoutest teams this year with returners and what not...but they def. live up to any of that hype...PJ caused it all. If they really wanted they could blame PJ and whoever is paying him. But Tarhole fans dont think they cheated.

ours is a better book if you were to read about it.

both books are pretty boring and not worth really discussing. titles, of any sort, are worth mentioning- not crap NCAA/ACC tourney appearances.

LOL, our book is worth reading? They beat I believe the AP top 3 teams, and had a 12 game ACC winning streak. If we swapped our season, we would be poking fun at them

coming into the season, nobody expected TJ to have the sort of season he had. lots of people thought his production would fall since he'd probably be the focal point of our opponent's defense.

We got better down the stretch while UNC stayed the same or arguably regressed. Remember, we beated Miami, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse down the stretch which were all teams that UNC lost to. True, UNC beated Pitt earlier in the year but that's when they were hot and plus they were in the Dean's Dome. Pitt beated UNC at the ACCs which was a more important win.
