There were only 337 Obsidian Black Pearl Non-Limited (Cloth Seats/No Sunroof) Sedans made with a manual transmission, so this car is rare.

This car was built as my personal car, but all work was professionally performed at the shop I own, Urban Legends Motorsport. I have used this car to promote my shop at car meets, and it has been daily driven by me for the past two years. I have meticulously maintained this car, with the only flaws being small exterior paint scratches that were present when I purchased the car. I am the third owner- the first owner had this car for 8,000 miles in Ohio; the second owner had this car in Durham, NC until 40,000 miles, and was a Duke University professor. In other words, this car has spent the majority of its life in a Southern climate, which is hard to find when looking for a Subaru.

This car is still running on the factory engine and factory VF-40 turbo, which shows this car has been well maintained and not beaten on. This car has never been to a track or drag strip. I have never boosted the car on a cold engine, or shut off the engine immediately after a strong pull.

No expense was spared on this car, and the parts alone are worth over $8,000. I have only used proven, high quality name-brand parts to maintain the value of the car while making it much more fun to drive. I WILL NOT be parting the car out, I will only sell as-is.

My asking price is $20,000 negotiable (no low ballers). This price reflects the level of meticulous maintenance upheld, the relatively low mileage, the condition of the car (and being in a warm, non-harsh climate), and the value of the parts. This car is currently in perfect, running condition, and I am only selling this car to help my financial situation. The car is located in Raleigh, NC. The posted pictures were taken earlier this year, and do not include photos of a few of the parts, as indicated in the Mods List; new pictures will be taken of it this weekend.

-Coolant flushed with OEM Subaru Coolant at 60k miles
-Spark Plugs changed to new OEM Spark Plugs at 60k miles
-Brake Pads changed to Stoptech Street Pads at 65k miles
-Oil changed every 3000 miles or less with Pennzoil 5W-30 and Subaru OEM Oil Filter

Possibly looking to trade my 1972 Datsun 240z. (I love this car, i'm just trying to see what's out there while I try to finish school.)

Original L24 with 4 speed transmission. Motor has been rebuilt and has ~40k on it. Shaved heads and MSA cams (Thats what the previous owner told me.) Has RCI fuel cell due to rusted gas tank. Crappy paint but is in good condition rust wise. I'll be putting some tires on it in the next couple of days. Comes with parts for interior and 2 extra 280z seats will come with the car.

No a/c. Has heat but not sure if it works. There is more information I am sure, but its almost 3 and I'm tired.

P/M any offers for trades...PLEASE only cars, trucks, SUVs that run. This car has been my DD and I only want to trade for another DD.

BTW does anyone have a spare brake fluid reservoir? The one on my bike is literally disintegrating and I LOST the replacement I ordered from Thailand (took 3 weeks to get here, but it was cheap). I don't want to wait for another or pay $50 for the OEM replacement - its a fucking plastic cup.

Bought April 2002 with 34,800 miles. The car now has approximately 82,000 miles. The car was involved in a minor accident in the passenger side front from the previous owner, however this does not affect the drivability of the car and the aesthetics. The car has its original engine and drive-train minus the transmission and wheels. Transmission is from an ’89 and the wheels are from an ’88. Engine is a 2.6L turbocharged and intercooled inline-4 with 7:1 compression. The head gasket was replaced around 50k miles. This car has been driven less than 1000 miles a year for the past 6 years. The car put down 245 hp and 313 lb/ft torque @ the wheels on the dyno. Since the dyno session, tuning software has been installed to better dial in the settings for increased hp and torque. I have done weight reduction as well, but I have all the stock parts in various boxes that will also come with the car. Car has a full interior that is in great condition. There is minor wear on the front seats, but for a 24-year-old car the leather is in great shape. I also will throw in a drive shaft safety loop and a battery relocation kit with the car. The modifications were done by myself, and are as follows. I’m sure I may have forgotten a couple:
