I like how it's everyone's responsibility to worry about what the fuck everyone else is doing instead of just doing their own fucking job

the lack of patience by some people and why they feel the need to call me 3-4 times a day even on the weekend. Especially when I've told them a million times that the issue was being looked at.

People who feel the need to stick their head in my office to say, "Good morning, how are you doing?" when I'm obviously on the phone and in a heated discussion with a client.

My silly colleague who feels the need to bring her personal shit to work every day. Once a week, she comes in ranting about some crazy disaster in her life. Last week, her cat got stung by a bee and she skipped work for two days to take care of her cat's bee sting injury. And once she got back, she spent more than two hours talking about how stressful it is to have cats and that they're so much work.

Wah, wah ... let's hope nothing serious ever happens to her. God forbid she has a death in the family. She'll be out for six months.

The two guys beside me have been talking loudly about Tim Tebow since 9:05 am. I may murder them and stash the bodies.

My company outsources our internal IT group so that upper management has total control of the network. However, whenever there are any computer problems, I end up being the real system administrator and everyone asks me to fix it first. Then when I finally figure out how to fix the problem, I explain the steps that I would take, but can't because of permissions, and then management calls the outsourced IT group and they take my recommendations and follow them. So basically, I'm doing all of the leg work, and they get all the credit and get paid to do nothing basically. It's fucking bullshit. Therefore, if anyone asks me for help going forward, I immediately tell them to contact the outsourced IT group first. This has been working very well for me, but I've been contacted quite a few times by these outsourced IT guys and they are trying to get me to work with them remotely so they don't have to come in. I just say that I'm too busy with my work and explain that the whole point of them being employed by us is to avoid fragmenting me, lol.

Some dudes were talking about this guy a few weeks ago. Apparently some radio station took a bunch of Chuck Norris facts and just put Tim Tebow's name into them. These guys thought they were the funniest jokes ever. I guess they were pretty funny back in 2006. When they were Chuck Norris jokes.

It is really annoying when people are carrying on conversations in the bathroom when you're sitting there trying to get your #2 on

I also can't stand it when people brush their teeth in the bathroom at work. Are you saying you are really so pressed for time that you can't get this done at your house before you leave to go to work?

agreed. fuck those guys. where i work did something similar while i was in college and got time warner to come in and set some shit up for us.. aka firewall/VPN. they charge us MONTHLY for shit they haven't touched in years. the contract is fucking hilarious.. it gives us "up to 25 internal IP addresses", lol..and has charges for everyone past 25.

i've repeatedly told them to drop the service, give the equipment back, spend a few hundred bucks for some older cisco gear and let me set it up and a month worth of savings would cover the costs but they won't listen.

A coworker gets a promotion simply because he has been there longer than me, regardless of the fact that I have outsold him every month since I got hired.

Working with our partners is a real pain in the ass. These guys just talk about baseball on conference calls and do nothing. It also doesn't help that I don't follow baseball. Plus they all think I went to UNC, because they have never heard of Jimmy V or NCSU, idiots.

I was lucky my last boss liked bowling. I think half of our 1 on 1s were spent discussing it.

Today's loud noise and impending headache, brought to you by angle grinder, with special guests hammer and chisel. I really hope they finish reframing this damn doorway soon.

Update: they've now started using some damn thing that looks like a handheld jackhammer to knock out cinder blocks. And I thought the other noise was bad--this is worse.

This one lady always sleeps in her car during lunch - except she climbs in the backseat of a small compact hyundai in the spot RIGHT near the door, so anyone coming in or out sees her cramped up in the backseat sleeping. I told her to at least drive around the corner, looks awful to mgmt that someone would rather sit in the 90 degree car than work...

They moved this fat bald guy into the cube next to mine, and he busts ass constantly, and it is seriously rank, its like rotten eggs, it makes me feel like im going to puke and he does it 3 to 4 times an hour. Something has to be done about this, I would rather do some of the stuff on dirty jobs than try to edit production prints amidst this guys fumes.

Someone just asked me to organize a company picnic for next Friday.

1) That's not part of my job.
2) How the hell am I supposed to set up something that quickly?
3) We see each other every fucking day, is this even necessary? We got the holiday party in 3 months.
4) I wouldn't want to go to the damn thing, let alone organize it.
