Lawson majored in Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State and earned one of the highest scores ever on the Wonderlic. He is also notably a skank-ho and has a penis which hangs to the left.

Damn, Kevin Parks committed to UVA today. I was hoping he'd stretch out his recruitment until we were able to offer him.

Yes. He said he had been favoring UVA, but was going to visit all of the other schools interested in him (which included us). We hadn't offered yet.

that kid is special. i got to see him play a little bit last season with my old hs and their run to the state championship and nobody had an answer for him.

i'm surprised he committed so early, but i guess he's just trying to get recruiting behind him so he can just focus on playing this next season. i'm sure he'll still take a visit if we stay on him.

Good article by the N&O on the in state juniors for 2010.

http://www.newsobserver.com/821/story/1418060.html

This guy sounds like a beast:

Matt James, 6-6, 205, WR, Sanderson

James played in just seven games last season because of a partially torn knee ligament, but did some amazing things.

He blocked five kicks, returned three kicks for touchdowns and established himself as an outstanding receiver.

He played six downs as a defensive end during the season and recorded four sacks.

He has offers from East Carolina and Air Force, but teams such as Notre Dame, Virginia, Texas Tech, Auburn and most in-state schools are interested.

Wide Receiver
Raleigh (NC) Sanderson

Ht: 6-foot-6
Wt: 205 lbs
Forty: 4.6 secs
Bench max: 280 pounds
Squat max: 300 pounds
Vertical: 29 inches
GPA: 3.7
Class: 2010 (High School)

Creecy News per packpride...

“State is still out front,” said Creecy. “I love the atmosphere and really, when I first started being recruited they were the first team there and they were the first team on me hard. They always invite me to their practices and tell me what they’re going to do with me. What they’re going to do with me sounds like something I want to be a part of. I want to touch the ball a lot and that’s what they want me to do. Really, that’s why they’re in the lead.

“Another thing is they have Russell (Wilson) and Mike (Glennon) and a lot of good linemen that redshirted. And I just love coach Dana Bible’s offense. He runs and scripts his plays so pretty that people get wide open and I really like that offense.”

“Duke is in there too and I say that because I talk to them all the time and they always tell me what I want to hear. They tell me how they want to use me and that’s why Duke has been sneaking up.”

DE James Kittredge visited State recently. A month ago he said that Rutgers and BC really stood out to him so far. His father played on the o-line at South Carolina and was a captain, so Kittredge admittedly grew up a Gamecock fan. Don Bosco Prep is one of the best football programs in New Jersey. They won a state championship this past season and have sent players to programs such as Florida, Boston College, Rutgers and Notre Dame.

Can someone please stop Florida from taking away this state's best players! Aren't there enough talented players in that state that they don't have to come in and cherry pick ours away.

We are the first to offer Brandon Burrows (even though Rivals shows that Maryland has offered, of course who knows how legit that is). Burrows played DE last year, but played RB this year. He'll either play DE or be a Brandon Jacobs type running back on the next level. Burrows plays at Walton HS which is where 2010 point guard commit Ryan Harrow attends.

Quintin Payton highlight video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAMf7slPuqI

I can see why his numbers suffered this year. His QB sucked. In the film you can see that sometimes he had to make an incredible play on the ball just to get it. The QB has a terrible arm/accuracy. He also had to play some QB himself.

Well I'm sure that pretty much every game he was the biggest kid on the field so he'd always be matched up against kids smaller than him.

I like Good's size and power in that video, he even had pretty good foot-work, but he's still pretty raw. He basically ran block most of that video so it's hard to really judge, but he basically came off the snap, barreled over his guy and then ran down the field looking for someone to hit. And half the time he was running down the field hitting people and the play was to the other side, haha. But he seems like a high-character kid who has a lot of potential, so I expect TOB and crew to have him ready to go after a redshirt year.
