I guess it depends on the Penalty's in this game. If the Oilers take lots of penalties our Power Play is really good on home ice. I think one way or another this game will be settled in Regulation. For the Oilers to win they need to get 2 or 3 goals in the first period because the Canes finish strong.

If I was MacTavish I wouldn't switch Goalies, I can't imagine Rolly being 100%. Markannen has played well he isn't the reason they lost Game 4

Interesting. It would make sense for both teams at least from a chemistry standpoint. There's the obvious chemistry between Eric and Jordan (assuming they get along ) and then Jack Johnson and Sidney Crosby are close friends.

Lav is going to play Cole and risk his career. I know he wants to play but that would be like the Panthers letting Jenkins play in the 2nd half against New Orleans last year. Edmonton is a hitting team and I am not sure Cole could take that much abuse.

All the Johnson for Staal rumors were started by EJ Hradek of ESPN, the same guy who said we would take Marc Staal 3rd last year. That being said, Marc will be the worst Staal. Jordan is a much better player than Marc and might equal the level of talent of Johnson. He models his game after Todd Bertuzzi and is already a whopping 215 lbs where Eric weighed about 185 soaking wet in his draft year. I think we could make the trade and survive. JR knows how to patch a defense together with veteran FA's. We have proved this year that a stud dman is not essential to a winning team.
