Rudi Johnson vs. NYJ (still hurting, but says he will play Sunday) Thomas Jones @ Cin (coming off of a fairly big week - 130 yds) Lamont Jordan vs. KC (back to normal practicing and will play sunday) Travis Henry vs. Pit (been pretty consistent all season for me) Fred Taylor vs. Indy (not really an option) 10/18/2007 7:48:28 AM |

What do you guys think of the Giants running backs? Lots of points there...but who will get them between Derrick Ward, Jacobs, and Droughns.
A guy just dropped Ward in my league, and even though Droughns had a huge game, Ward still seems worth having. Should i pick him up? I think so. 10/18/2007 10:31:19 AM |

This happened for the following reason:
There was another manager with a higher waiver priority requesting the player.
what exactly does this mean? 10/18/2007 12:03:53 PM |
Lipka All American 1144 Posts user info edit post |
Another team was trying to pick that player off the waiver wire, and his waiver position was before yours. The way our waivers were set up was 1st round pick in the draft gets the last waiver, and the last round draft pick gets the 1st waiver claim. Once you use your waiver claim, you drop back to last, and start the cycle over again. 10/18/2007 1:32:37 PM |

Is it worth picking up K Faulk and using him this week instead of Norwood, Watson or Wright? I'm hurting at RB with byes and injuries. I was thinking of picking up Faulk and dropping VJack. 10/18/2007 2:20:43 PM |

peyton, santana moss, and and cedric benson have been offered to me for donte stallworth, kevin curtis, and adrian peterson.
my present qb is mcnabb, if i accept this i'll still have MJD and ronnie brown at RB and my WRs would be s. moss, t holt, c chambers and n burleson.
i don think i want to pull the trigger on this one b/c it will definitely deplete my receiving corp and i just dont know if peyton for AP would be worth it... thoughts? 10/18/2007 7:55:32 PM |

don't do it.
Benson and Moss are busts and Manning isn't putting up enormous numbers yet. I would REALLY worry about those WR's if you made that trade. I like your team alot more now than I would if you were to make that move.
Out of curiosity, what is your record in the league? Are you trading just to trade or is there some sense of urgency here? 10/18/2007 8:14:02 PM |

I wouldn't keep the Vikings D. Dallas is going to light them up at home.
I would also move the Bills down the list. If I were you, I would either go with Indy (even though Garrard has yet to throw an INT and isnt really mistake prone) or, my sleeper D pick of the week.....
New Orleans. Yes, they went a long stretch of the season without a sack, but now they are on thier game. The last two weeks they have had 6 sacks, 2 INT's, a blocked kick, a fumble recovery and a return for a TD, plus their Offense is coming into form, which will put pressure on opposing teams. They are playing a hapless ATL team who just switched to Leftwich, who loves the INT like you love the dick.
Indy may be a good pick, but that game is always tough and could be a trap. Go out on a limb and pick N.O. 10/18/2007 8:35:39 PM |

^^ Bennett needs time to learn the offense, Andre Johnson is a gametime decision but I have a feeling he won't play this week.
Faulk at Miami is tempting since both Maroney and Morris are banged up. I think Rudi is your best bet though and will most likely play. 10/18/2007 10:41:49 PM |

Pick two to start:
Kenny Watson, Stallworth, Roddy White, or Anquan Boldin?
Leaning towards Stallworth since Boldin may be rusty and Watson since he should get most of the carries for Cincinnati. I'm also have a waiver claim in on Kevin Faulk. 10/19/2007 11:49:41 AM |

I would probably start Faulk just because with Morris and Maroney still out, he will get a good number of touches
Burelson could have a decent game but is a big IF Booker is now the #1 receiver and could have a nice game but its Miami we are talking about and he hasnt done shit all year Andre and Rudi are still out Bennett would not even be a decision for me until he proves he will get some touches 10/19/2007 2:23:48 PM |

Well new orleans has had one of the worst passing defenses I've ever seen, and it seems like every top receiver against them gets 100 yards so I'd start White for sure, esp if Leftwich is playing
here's a tough one for ya:
Thomas Jones vs Najeh Davenport vs Bobby Engram
Jones is coming off a big week and is a number one back, davenport however gets all the tds for pitt and they are going to trample all over denver cause of their run defense and good corners, and Bobby Engram is seattle's number one receiver right now coming off a big week
help me!

guru, guru... answer me these questions three...
i have culpepper. Huard is a FA. they go against each other, and both will probably put up huge numbers... but which would thee play?
secondly, Justin "the Friar" Tuck is my D-Line IDP, but his counter part, Osi Umenyiora, is also a free agent. I can drop the Friar and pick up Osi, or i can keep the good Friar and see how he does against the horrible 49ers O-Line. Both will have sacks... just wondering who you think will have more...
and finally... VD is for everybody. Vernon Davis, that is. He's a FA and he's playing again this week. My TE is Desmond Clark, who, while not spectacular, consistently gives me 5-7 pts. a game (per reception and 20 yards = 1 pt.) I can't make room on my roster for VD, so i'd have to drop D-Clark to get him. What is the answer, oh great one?
thx. 10/20/2007 2:49:25 PM |

Every week, I get the task of picking my QB, knowing that both of mine are capable of BIG games. So, who do I play this week?
Carson Palmer Vs. the Jets OR Tony Romo Vs. the Vikings
I'm leaning toward Romo, due to the fact that even Brian Griese put up almost 400 on the Vikes. Not a bad situation to have, but I am going against a guy who has Randy Moss, Brady, and Adrian Peterson this week. 10/20/2007 10:18:12 PM |
