Oh dear...that is really hard. I have had a lot of great moments in my life. But probably it would have to be this past summer at Lutheridge. I seriously was probably at the happiest I have ever been for the longest period of time in my life. If I could relive that summer over and over again I would in a heart beat.

^^I sure do. Other than spending most of it laying out on the beach since I'm taking all online classes this summer. And working. I am planning on flying out to Reno to see my cousin get married.
Well that's it really...I guess it's not that much of an exciting summer, but I don't fly much so flying out there will be great fun

I HATE LIFE

how do you stay happy?

what would you do if you were going down a career path that you didn't want AT ALL? would you just keep going cause you'd already invested so much time/money? quit and start something new? or use what you had gained already (but hated) to work for a little while figuring out what you REALLY wanted to do?

I don't stay happy. I have bipolar disorder, I never know how I'm gonna feel.

I don't know what I would do. I would probably just try to finish up school and then look at other options I could do with the degree I have. Your last option sounds okay too. Use what you have, do something you're not in love with for a while, and while you're doing that figure out what you really wanna do with your life. Everyone deserves to do what makes them happy with their life.

do you take meds for bipolar? how did you know you had it? what is it like?

yea i mean i'm going to finish school (in a month) and take the bar exam (in july) and look for a job. but unless i get a really obscure job with my degree i doubt i'll ever like it. i want to be a nurse. *SIGH*

I should be on meds for it. I used to take them, but I stopped at the beginning of last summer. Being at Lutheridge really helped me out, but then once the summer ended I pretty much went back to my old ways. I'm for sure back in it now. I really need to hit up the doctor to get back on meds.

But I found out because two years ago I went home for Christmas. I didn't think I was acting strange but my parents told me that they saw a big change in my personality since I had been gone. They had noticed some changes when I was still living there. They said they always felt like they had to walk on egg shells around me because I would snap at them really easily, or I would just cry for no reason. My mom said she never knew who was gonna wake up the next morning.
Well when I was home for Christmas I was in my depression stage, and they saw that I had just no zest for life like I used to. I wasn't the cheerful person I used to always be. Of course I got mad at my parents for saying that, I stormed around the house started crying, throwing things. Basically I pitched a fit. When I came back to Raleigh after Christmas I went to see a doc, and she asked me a bunch of questions.
Some of the questions I thought were random. She was asking me about my spending habits, or if I have a bunch of hobbies. Turns out my answers to those and the other things I talked about were classic bipolar disorder things.
She put me on meds, and a month later I was back to my old self again.

But now I'm off the meds again. I really should be back on them, but I really hate thinking of the fact that I am going to have to take medicine every day for the rest of my life to feel happy and normal.

i take prozac. but it really has helped me and i'm on a low dose. i hate the feeling of being on it forever but i mean...it REALLY has made a difference in my life and it doesn't make me feel like a medicine head. so...blah.

any fun plans this weekend?

Well tomorrow night I'm working. I should get a good chunk of money from that. Then Saturday I'm planning on laying on the beach all day, then that night going to a birthday party. Then Sunday morning I will be working while I'm hung over, then working on some homework and shit.
