I got a cardboard splinter from the pizza box that was delivered to my doorstep

Also, my homemade shrimp burrito was difficult to eat, because of the sheer volume of food stuffed into one tortilla

I couldn't find the "first world problems" thread when I was having a problem.

Also, my monitor at work is a 15" LCD, and I am in desperate need of something bigger.

Went to Maggiano's with the family last night. My parents both gave me the "get one to take home" of their pastas since they did not have a fridge at the hotel. I already had some leftovers in the fridge, and I'm going out to lunch today and tomorrow.

Too many tasty leftovers, not enough time to eat them.

I plan to, LOL. But I've got two and a half orders of pasta, plus some leftovers from Friday night's dinner. I hope they do not expire before I can consume them over the next 3 days.

Do people really at the idea of eating leftovers 3 days later? I honestly can't wrap my mind around being grossed out by that.

depends on what leftovers they are. some foods don't stay very well even after a few hours, but something simple like pasta can easily last 3+ days. More if your freeze them. Shit, you can keep leftover meats frozen for a very long time.

Yeah, I know a few people who put super short time limits on leftovers, but I do not fall in said category.

I have a slow leak in one of the tires on my SUV, so I had to drive my truck today. It sucks because the truck gets like 10 MPG less than the SUV.

Leftover pasta is easily fine to eat 1-1.5 weeks after you bring it home. Bunch of pansies in here.

there is a 48 hour limit on leftover meals in my fridge. i'm talking about fully prepared meals. If i make too much pasta sauce I will freeze it. raw ingredients like chopped veggies and things also get a pass.

but if it's a mixed container of sauce and pasta it gets thrown out on the third day. same with pizza, home cooked meals, to-go boxes, take-out, etc.

Srsly. I'd get sick of things if I always had them for back to back meals. Living by myself, I almost always cook extra to eat later in the week.

Cooked food sitting in the fridge for 3 days is in no way disgusting (except certain foods that don't keep/reheat). You realize raw food can sit for longer than that at the grocery store, right? This is why Americans waste so much food.
