Yea, there's quite a god damn bit you can do that isn't nearly as much of a waste of time than that.

I don't think it's nearly as big a deal as fox and the obama-haters are making it out to be. Not at all.

its a big deal in that its a failure in leadership after requests were made by the staff for extra security and because people died, but its not a big deal in regards to Obama or Clinton's involvement.

^IMO the only thing that makes it a big deal with regards to Obama and Clinton is that it appears they lied about what they knew (or higher up people close to them lied). Covered it up and whatnot.

Do hardcore conservatives really think the president and his staff willfully and purposely denied additional security with the knowledge that these people would die.

how many hearings, exactly, were there over the Bush administration "ignoring" the "Bin Laden determined to strike in U.S." memo?

Did the GOP doctor Benghazi e-mails?
http://theweek.com/article/index/244363/watch-cbss-major-garrett-calls-out-gop-over-doctored-benghazi-emails

When it emerged that ABC News had been handed misleading summaries of internal Obama administration emails hashing out post–Benghazi attack talking points, we asked who burned the network's White House correspondent, Jonathan Karl. Somewhat unexpectedly, Karl's CBS News counterpart, Major Garrett, provided us an answer: Congressional Republicans. (Watch above.)

Karl had strongly suggested that he was quoting actual emails from White House official Ben Rhodes and State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland that he had personally reviewed, instead of summaries passed on by partisan sources. According to Garrett, that's because "Republicans leaked what they said was a quote from Rhodes" and "also provided what they said was a quote from an email written... by Nuland."

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/08/14/gingrich-republicans-have-zero-health-care-ideas/?hpt=hp_t3

Quote :
"But Republicans today have nothing comparable to offer, Gingrich told nearly the 200 state party chairs, operatives and activists gathered in Boston for the conference.

"I will bet you, for most of you, you go home in the next two weeks when your members of Congress are home, and you look them in the eye and you say, 'What is your positive replacement for Obamacare?' They will have zero answer," Gingrich said.

Gingrich blamed the problem on Republican culture that rewards obstruction and negativity instead of innovation and "being positive."

"We are caught up right now in a culture, and you see it every single day, where as long as we are negative and as long as we are vicious and as long as we can tear down our opponent, we don't have to learn anything," Gingrich said, acknowledging the "totally candid" nature of his remarks. "We have to do the homework.""

I’m a constituent, right now I can’t get health care. I’m waiting for this [insurance marketplace] to open and I’d like to know why we keep repealing [Obamacare]?"

Because my insurer will no longer provide insurance in NC. Don't know any more details beyond that; just got a letter last week stating so, and that it was due to the ACA.

^^You probably won't see cheaper base rates on plans, especially if what you were getting before was a super high deductible catastrophic coverage plan. All plans now will have a pretty comprehensive baseline of coverage, preventative care and such, with relatively low deductibles and copays. But the premiums will be higher than what you're used to paying for the crappy plans of before. The saving grace is that depending on your income level, you may be eligible for subsidies that will indeed lower your premiums considerably.

But but, we were supposed to be able to keep the insurance we have.

What a fucking train wreck. There's a reason he wants to keep delaying shit. And the reasons, no matter what they tell you, aren't logistical.

^^^I don't qualify for any subsidies. I did have a high deductible plan; are those no more? Horseshit if so. I hardly ever go to the doctor and when I do, it normally ends up being about $70 out of pocket. I didn't have too many problems with the ACA... until now.

^ That is hardly the point. We were supposed to be able to keep the plans we were on - the plans that we like. Need me to find the soundbite when Obama said that?

Our president should have given up his lucrative career in law/politics to sell cars. He would've been great at it.

Because prior to ACA, insurers never dropped plans/coverage or raised prices. This is a phenomenon that started exactly 2 years ago.
