This late in the season, ther won't be much movement in the polls. Hell, UNC has been as hot as any team and they haven't cracked the Top 25. How we're not even getting votes when we're 5-1 in our last 6 surprises me, but oh well. I think all the voters are just in a wait and see mode with this team. I just wish we hadn't lost Lorenzo in that UVA game though. No telling what our record would be right now had he not gone down. Did allow Tyler to show what he had though, which may mean more than 1 win then...so who knows. Lets just win some games!

Virginia is just weird.

Untouchable on Pomeroy but has a ton of bad losses.

They are on right side of bubble today but another loss and who knows.

^it won't take much for them to play their way out of the tournament with their bad losses. I could see them getting in as a 10 seed if they get a couple more wins. Home vs Maryland and @FSU are no gimmies though...especially as bad as they play on the road. Also, Maryland is more "talented".

A UNC fan on my Fb went on a Rant about duke staying where they were in the polls after losing to UvA. I reminded him they beat Miami in the same week and he didn't seem to think that mattered.

I'm a little surprised that we aren't getting any votes...but it's not like we really deserve them. In the last ten or so games, we've beat teams we are suppose to beat and lost games that we were probably suppose to lose. And other than a couple blowouts, some of those "should wins" were really really close (Vtech).

I would like to win these next two games and maybe sneak into the polls if a lot of teams ahead of us drop a game or two. Not because I want to be ranked...but because I think it would help our seeding if the NCAA committee sees a nice top 25 number beside our name.

idk, seems like the committee is more influenced by their own RPI-related formulas and opinions for determining seeding rather than the opinions of a public media poll

That was Herbs last year. We also lost once to them during Hodges tenure.

No bennerman hit the backboard @ miami one year. I remember it vividly. Terrible play they passed to him at the buzzer.

We lost to cal in 2003 I believe. Cliff crawford left his man some foreigner to go for the steal and they got a wide open buzzer beater in ot. Scooter Sherrill had an amazing block at the buzzer in regulation to send it to overtime on an open layup

Yeah that Austin dude on Baylor is all potential and no results right now. Can't believe he'll go in the Top 10. He was about as worthless as Vandy out there.

As for Baylor and wasting talent, Drew is certainly wasting it this year, but they have made two Elite 8s in the past 3 years so I would not say they have wasted talent continuously. It is easy though to root against Scott Drew's sweaty ass. Dude acts like a fucking maniac on the sidelines.
