haha. yea the album that is off of (black phantom crusades) is so freakin good. appleseed cast has a new one coming out early 2009. I was all over some deep elm in HS (well still am)

I couldnt get into most of it because It sounded like a lot of other metal groups Ive heard before. We have tried to stay away from sweep picking during most of our existence because so many bands just use it in the same way that this band used it (as well as my hero is me, seneca etc. - who are both bands we are friends with so im not trying to put either down heh). I did like a few things they did though. I just am jaded to the typical arpeggio lead routine. Singing vocals were pretty good considering you can tell there is no real tune adjustment on them.

But Im just cynical as a guitar player.
