there was certainly a massive attempt at it. show me where the other voter suppression was? people that couldn't fill their ballots out correctly and had their ballots DQed, as specified in state law? or are you thinking of the Democrats who only wanted to recount one county in the entire state, with rules completely different from the rest of the state? Or maybe it was where Democrats wanted to DQ all military ballots sent in from APO addresses, even though those ballots were sitting in the election offices the day before the election...

I did yesterday. I certainly dont fully support all of his views and believe some of his supporters to be mouth breathing fools (notably one in this very thread) but the sum total of his policy views align most similar to me.

I realize we have already moved to the Romney versus Obama campaigning but I figured I'd still cast my vote for whom I align most closely with.

^^Two points (no slam on you):

1) Who gives a flying F¥€£ what Faux News is saying?! They are only now realizing they are going to have to take back all of the lies they perpetrated for Romney because the facts are coming out that Ron Paul is scaring the P!$$ out of the Republican establishment, including Faux News, which brings me to my second point.

2) In no way is the Republican Party excited about Ron Paul still being in the race "to attract young voters." If they were, you wouldn't be hearing these statewide stories of the GOP threatening to cut off delegate candidates who support Ron Paul, like in NV, where the GOP told NV that they wouldn't be seating any NB delegates to the RNC if they were Ron Paul supporters.

^ Dude...if Romney doesn't have 1,144 delegates, THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY IS NOT OVER!!!

So do you think this is the case because of some ideological reason or because they know he's unelectable?

I'd request that you refrain using the word unelectable. It's so ignorant.

Fact: He's held an elected government position 12 times. More than Romney, Santorum, AND Obama.

Fact: He's our only veteran running for president

Fact: He's the only republican that still has a his job. Romney is no longer a governor, Santorum lost re-election, and Newt was washed up and Gingrich was held largely responsible for republican losses in the house when he was forced to resign.

Fact: He's the only republican with real republican values and has the most republican voting record in Congress.

Fact: He's the only candidate that promotes the constitution, liberty, and freedom. He's the only candidate that has an explicit plan on how they're going to fix the economy.

Fact: He's the only candidate that doesn't flip flop on issues and is the most trustworthy candidate to do what he says.

Fact: He has the most active and majority voter base that will help him accomplish his ideas.

Quote :
"The Republican National Committee has sent a stern letter to the Nevada Republican Party warning the state not to draw too heavily from supporters of Texas Congressman Ron Paul (R) for its delegates, reports DC insider blog “The Hill.” If the delegation fails to feature the 20 out of 28 supporters it needs for former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R), the national committee has warned that it will refuse to seat them at the Republican National Convention this summer.

Rachel Maddow has reported that at this juncture, no delegates have been awarded to any of the candidates from Michigan, Iowa and other states including Nevada. Paul and his supporters have been using their own strategy, including some of the more obscure rules of delegate selection, to pack state committees with their own delegates.

Paul enjoys strong support in Nevada. National officials are becoming worried that the congressman’s popularity could throw a wrench into the works of an otherwise smooth nomination process for Romney.
.
.
.
Initial vote counts said that Mitt Romney won the Iowa caucus, which was one of the earliest primary votes, held on January 3. Recounts have since then shown that the majority of votes in the state were actually won by Paul.

well...

either they are both right, both wrong, or one right and one wrong. good luck

Seeing how we know romney has the inside track, the likeliness of his campaign to do this is 10 to one.

Ron Paul has no prior members in the RNC and so the possibility of Ron Paul's campaign to rig elections is slim to none. Ron Paul is winning by playing by RNC's own rules. We've been saying how we were going to take the delegates by storm for MONTHS and people looked at us like we were crazy.

By the way...

Can the delegates be prosecuted legally for not voting as instructed by their constituents and in accordance with the popular vote? It seems that that Republican party would be well within their rights to exclude such delegates from the convention, particularly those that earned their post deceptively by feigning support for Romney.

Pretty much the only thing right with the electoral system...NOT leaving the vote directly in the hands of the masses. Good for Paul if they pull it off.

Can't wait to see footage of paulites getting beaten by security guards during the convention. In fact, it's probably the best thing that could happen. Every attempt will be made to just keep you out or make you invisible.

PS: It would be best not to be so obvious, like the dude with the pony tail in that last video. Buy a bunch of Romney paraphernalia to help get through the door. Only older males should be allowed to speak, as women and young males will simply be shouted down and escorted out. Super bonus points if you can find a black guy to speak for the group(they might hesitate to beat him), but good luck on that one.

you are comically daft.

Yes, if you are a conservative, and you still give your loyalty to the republican party, then you are a grade-A sucker. Your belly-aching about Paul being screwed over by the republican party should be enough evidence to you (something liberals have acknowledged long ago) that the republican party no longer gives a half a shit about small-government conservatives. They have become the exclusive party of the rich.

The fact that you are able to grasp that Paul is being ignored by the very base that he is trying to win over should signal that the party has been completely hijacked by corporate oligarchs, using the American Christian Fundamentalists as their army of devoted followers.

And retards continue to vote republican even though none of their leaders give a damn about conservatism.
