I supported TOB for a long time. By year five I was done with the mediocrity. Debbie yow cited differences in opinion on the program's future, which I took to mean that he was ok with where we were, and so I'm glad we fired him, too.

Yes, I support Doeren. I will continue to for one more season. If he sucks next year, cut him and find another.

I support Gott, too, but if he doesn't get us within spitting distance of the national title game in another half decade or so, I'll support finding someone else for basketball as well.

I've said it a million times in this thread. I'm not under the impression the Doeren is going to be our football coach savior at this point, but firing him a year and a half in is the more retarded decision than firing him before he's really had a fair shake at it.

The next 4 games is the litmus test for what he can do. I think 6/6 record is perfectly acceptable. There's no reason why a well coached version of this team cant win 2 more games with the remainig schedule. I'll be dissapointed if we lose all 4 but can't say I'll be surprised.

even if we started winnings games NOW hes gonna have to do ALOT of winning over the next few years to get to .500. Say we go 2-6 this ACC year(im giving us hope here)...that leaves him at 2-14 after two years. He would have to go 6-2 for 3 straight years to even reach .500 in the ACC. And that would be the best stretch of ACC play that we've had in our history, lol.
