im impressed with the consistent improvement we've made year after year.

im with tim on this one....if you had told this to me 4-5 years ago, i wouldnt have been too thrilled. but i like where we are, and where we are going.

i few years ago, a tough loss to unc would have sent us into a downward spiral....now, the next game, we turn around and beat a good team by almost 20.

BC is not a horrible team. but they aren't as good as people want to make them out to be. they sure as hell aren't a top25 team, no matter what the ranking says they are.

I think with the more support Herb has earned is helping him recruiting. Ever since his job has not been in question, we have gradually won more and more. Now our recruiting is starting to show it. I think Wright is the first of many 5*s we are going to start getting now that Herb is gonna be here a while.

i'm pretty sick of it. there's no other team in the ACC or country for that matter i think that would be 13-2, coming off a sweet16, consecutive NCAA appearances, etc., and still bash their coach.

I don't like the AP and coaches' polls, because they favor "big name" teams over who's actually playing well. The people who vote don't have the time to watch every single game out there.

I'm a big fan of Pomeroy's calculated rankings, even though they sometimes overrate teams too--you have to take a look at the schedule to see what kind of competition they've been beating up on. At least with his site, though, you can easily browse through everyone's schedule and results.

who cares about history.. it's about now.. I will admit.. at hte beginning of the season, "Wow.. herb finally has a good team this year.. maybe we can pull it off this year.." and as the season played on.. I kept seeing last years team.. selfishness was growing.. inconsistency was showing.. and a big difference from last year is there are little to no injuries this year.. so he doesn't have that reason to fall back on this year..


yea.. Herb is better than Les.. at least we have winning seasons.. but still not the coach we need to compete with Duke and Carolina.. or any great team for that matter..
