Because your knees should always be bent in them, whether you're crouched or in the butterfly.

With that said, pads have flex points built into them at the knee, ankle, and sometimes at the thigh. Where did you try on these pads that didn't bend at all?

^^ In many cases, it's not intentional. If you're waving your glove at slapper and happen to snag it, your brain sorta turns off and your arm says "HOLY SHIT I GOT IT I HAVE TO SHOW THE REF I HAVE IT." I snagged a low shot from the top of the circles through a screen like that once, and I before I knew it my glove was above my head. :shrug:

Mr goalie friend,

so im thinking about getting a new helmet. Itech HC100 or CCM 1052 tacks.

What should i do? See the thing is, my 852 super tacks skates have been wonderful, as have my 652 tacks elbowpads. So i know its a quality product. The itech, my HC1505 helmet has kinda blown major dicks, but my HG2200 gloves are fantastic. the Itech SG4 shinguards have been ok.

the CCM helmet looks nicer, and sounds pretty nice, but the HC100 sounds equally nice. Which do you think is the better helmet?
