Their receivers always seemed adequate when Matt Schaub was tossing it to them

This was more bc they had nobody else that could run their system. Come on, man. Doug Johnson and Kurt Kittner are not good QBs no matter how you slice it. Trying to put them into a mobile QB's system - and thus having to pare down the playcalling, DUE to their immobility - and yes, you have a failed season. Are you seriously this myopic?

Reggie Bush or Michael Vick?

Bush - decent game, can't take anything from him, got 141 yards on 25 touches (remember kids, touches is the buzzword for bush, don't focus too much on a running back's running numbers)

Vick - typical vick game, did good things with his feet and subpar things by air (remember kids, presence is the buzzword for vick, don't focus too much on a quarterback's passing numbers)

Way to talk about/defend something you don't even watch

It's like asking me what happened on American Idol

"Although I haven't seen the Saints play yet this season, I'm pretty sure that Reggie Bush looks better than all of them, despite his longest play being 23 yards and having no TDs yet"

He's not used to being able to support anything that his team does.

^^ or maybe I'm not sold on Bush's ability to be successful on this team

Not as successful as, say, a D'Brickashaw Ferguson

I mean the guy helped a great deal with ticket sales and is pretty versatile, but $62 million is a bit much for a part-time player

this thread is ridiculous...

there is no doubt Bush will be a damn fine player, if not an elite player.

I expect (or hope for) a big game from him tonight. Maybe not any TDs but a big game...

MNF would be a great way for him to score his first career touchdown. Look for it to happen tonight.

there would be no better stage, especially with all of tonight's circumstances

he could very well be the face most identified as representative new orleans after tonight's over

i got Joe Horn in both fantasy leagues

he'd better be great

but seriously, tonight should be great to watch

even though Vick will dominate them

I am down 1.2 points in one league...I have Warrick Dunn and my opponent is done...I should win

but anyway all eyes will certainly be on the Falcons Saints game tonight...definitely the stage for Reggie to prove his worth

Course I think either Reggie or Vick are gonna be pissed as shit that neither of them are the complete focus of the media...how will ESPN deal with Reggie Bush and Michael Vick on the same telecast?!?!
