Anyone pick up Guitar Hero: On Tour today? I saw it in Best Buy but wasn't sure it would work with the old phat DS. Found out it will and I'm wondering if it's worth the purchase ($50). I know it's not he same as on the console, but I'm thinking that it might be an acceptable substitution when traveling away from home.

I'm playing The World Ends With You. Pretty good game. Hardcore as hell. Definitely worth checking out.

I picked it up yesterday. It's...I dunno. It's worth the $50 if you have it to spare. It's not a must have or anything like that. It cramps my fingers to play (but then again so does mario kart, for that matter) so I can't play more than 2-3 songs in a row before I have to do something else. I was surprised at how well they pulled off the speediness of Guitar Hero. It really is rather impressive. It's a lot better than I thought it would be.

It's also totally gayer than a pink dildo.

^^ Looks like its going to be an "expanded port" and not a remake. that's just the rumor right now, we'll see. I've never actually played the game which is ridiculous, but heard about how amazing it is from everyone.

^^^ honestly some of the best news all year. good year for ds rpgs/remakes. i'm currently playing the shit out of FFTA2, got dragon quest and FF4 coming out and now Chrono trigger. oh god, i just nutted in my pants.

Final Fantasy IV is out today. Its been getting very good reviews. I think I'll wait a bit to get it since I've got so many other games to beat right now, and its freaking $40. Supposed to be a great game though.

^ yeah me too, but this one will be a lot richer with the 3d environments and cutscenes and what not. Up until now all the remakes have just been ports so it should be a pretty good one.

looking for some good rpgs. Just obtained a DS from a friend who didn't want his anymore. We've been rocking out mariokart and mario stars multiplayer.

It lists "The World Ends With You" as a really good RPG, but I haven't played it. I did just get Chrono Trigger DS and Final Fantasy IV, though I haven't gotten around to playing them.

The World Ends With You is great. One of a kind, innovative RPG. The battle system can be punishing and confusing (you control two characters at once, one on each screen), but it's in the top 5 DS games IMO.

got TWEWY at blockbuster's B1G1 free the other day. also picked up zelda, dq5, and fire emblem at best buy for their b2g1 free yesterday.

hopefully that will keep me entertained on my 28 day stint in washington for work.

i've been playing tale of desperaux cause i got it for 10 bucks
actually kind of a fun game

also been playing the two first guitar heros, havent gotten the newest one yet cause i haven't seen the cartridge only without the handpiece anywhere for sale

and been playing gta but i get tired of it if i play too much so i just play that one sporadically

and of course mariokart
