Ok, I'm going to buy a system just for this game, and the ghostbusters game coming out in the fall. Should I go PS3 or Xbox?

I'm leaning towards PS3 since it has blu-ray too, and I'm used to my PS2.

If you want Blu-ray, go PS3. Honestly though, lots of the sports games for PS3 aren't that great. 360 definitely has Playstation beat on games right now and for the foreseeable future. Sony has lost almost all franchises except for Gran Turismo and SOCOM. PS3 is way harder to program games for though so maybe after they get that down the games will kick ass, but not right now. 360 is cheaper. I've had a PS2, XBox, and now a 360. I loved my PS2 but I have to say that the 360 is easily the more badass of the two right now. I also really like the controllers. They feel perfect in your hands. Take that for what you will.

GTA IV is gonna be the most badass game ever though.

Microsoft won't let that happen. I'm pretty sure the only reason it got delayed before was because it wasn't ready for PS3 and the contract they have says the game must be released simultaneously.

Rip any CD you want onto your HDD,
Plug any mp3 player (except the iphone, ipod touch, newest nano) into the USB slot,
Share your entire mp3 collection over your network with 2 button clicks,

and play your music as if it were ingame music (volume control, EQ effects, etc.), for every game on the 360.

You can start it from the guideblade, and it will run the entire time you're using it until you try to watch a movie or streaming video.

I love my ps3, but seriously,

Xbox 360 > PS3 in every aspect.

So in effect, you could "obtain" every song from the offical game, and play it with your own collection. Or just listen to the songs from the GTA soundtrack you like with your own custom playlist in game.

The only thing you'd be missing in all of this is the Radio DJ's and I'm sure MS is working on that

With exclusive content, exclusive features, and no hard drive install, there is no reason to get the ps3 version over the 360. None.

I am all for feature parity, but sony dropped the ball this generation, coming out a year late and after a year have not even MET the 360 from a online or functionality standpoint.

So yeah, was definitely getting this anyway, but the online modes sound like a lot of fun to be had.

^I'm not sure if it'll be on PC, I'd guess it would follow the same patterns as the previous GTA games and launch on PC a little later.

i'm already stressing about which console to get this for...

to me, GTA has always felt like a Playstation series, so I'm learning towards the PS3 version.

But I have a feeling 360 multiplayer will be better?

even after i "switched allegiances" from sony to ms (mostly because i had a string of fucked up ps2s) i still preferred GTA on the playstation...however once i played the re-release of GTA3 for XBox on the 360, i figured they were about equal...so i'll be getting it on my 360 just cause thats what i have...if i had both systems i would be like "wtf" cause i'd rate them about equally from what i know about gta games

don't forget the "exclusive" DLC. Though that word is used pretty loosely these days...

and I agree about the over usage of effects. I wish companies would stop using these tricks to make their games look "better". Seems like EA is turning up the contrast on all their titles to wash out imperfections. It's gotta stop!

But seriously, I don't mind the shit graphics in this game as long as the frame rate is decent. My problem with some of the earlier videos was that it not only looked like crap, it was also sluggish as hell.
