What I do know is that JLH isn't fat by any universal standards...hell many people could take a look at a dumbass like skokiann's photo gallery and see chicks that need a fucking barrel of big macs dropped on them DK Country style....but, hey seeing that pretty much explains it all.

first of all that doesnt really make much sense. at all.

second of all, i liked the movie to a point. i just said it was extremely overrated, as in it was good but it wasnt half as good as i expected after people talking about it being the funniest movie theyve seen in a long time. HUGE difference. it would have been a much better movie if the humor wasnt the same rehashed over and over again. i still laugh at that kind of humor sure, but a movie has to have more than that to carry it for a full length of a film.

first time it was good, but the second time i saw it it was much funnier.

if you have only seen it once and at least sorta enjoyed it watch it again in the future might change your mind. you also catch some subtle things that you might have missed the first time. for example, when that dude hits them in the parking lot he turns and goes "do you know jimmy, you look a lot like his brother" then later when hes in the room all the guys think he is jimmy's brother and make him sing, one of the funnier scenes in the movie. maybe everyone else caught that, but i didn't till the second time.

If you just don't get the movie, then you just don't get it. The writing was what it was, and if you didn't talk or act like that in high school, you were either very sheltered, or you were probably that douchebag who was spitting on them.

bottom line, if you don't like just having fun and watching a movie and remembering high school days, even if only some of it was shit you did, then move the fuck on. for the rest of us, i enjoyed some of the stories/flashbacks a movie like that brings up.
