My brother has a place up there on the lake. Near Popular Creek. I love going up there.

Poplar Creek.

I just got back from a 5 day stay. Did anyone here go for the fireworks?

I got up there late Tuesday night so I would have missed them. Where were you?

Sat out on the dock Wednesday and there were fireworks in almost 360 degrees plus a bunch popping right above my head.

The Pea Hill Creek fireworks saturday night were pretty badass. They rival any professional show I've ever seen. They had skydivers and a cannon. I highly recommend checking those out instead of dealing with the Eaton Ferry traffic.

i think 69's house is near the dam on the north side of the lake, about 2 miles from the mouth of pea hill creek

He said it was in Jimmy's Creek iirc. I did some surfing over there Sunday. Was crowded as fuck.

FYI, the Glass & Powder Mid-Atlantic Wake Series will be doing contests there on 7/21 and 8/24 at King Edwards Beach in Jimmy's Creek. Always a good time to get crunk, watch some wakeboarding, buy cheap gear, and eat some hotdogs.

I was there last weekend. Cold, rainy, and no fish. Do not recommend.
