i don't know if it's just me, but i'd prefer having longer thread titles over having the # of views and replies shown

I guess this is also the suggestions for new owners thread, so -

Make a stack out of a post's history, so that instead of putting an edited tag in the post area, a "post history" link appears below "edit post".

The post would always display the top of the stack, and the post history link would only be visible if the stack size was > 1.

I suppose the time limit to edit your post could be kept, and maybe shortened to cap the amount one could store in one's post history (could also just throw away posts off the bottom of the stack after x number of edits, I guess).
