there's some on ebay on the 20 yard line for 250, up to 750 for club seats. i'd never pay that much for a ticket to any event, but i'm sure some fool will

That shit better be full by the time the players are introduced. If you are concerned about your time to drink, there is always airplane bottles (mmm...rum and coke). Besides, airplane bottles are better than getting completely tanked before you go in. Get a good buzz going, and use the airplane bottles to sustain it. One really wasted asshole was falling all over section 8 during the 2004 Florida State game. That guy was so annoying, when he came over to me I gave him a small shove to get away, and he ended up stumbling down like 6 or 7 steps in the aisle. I think event staff or one of his buddies finally took him away. Remember everyone likes the witty comical drunk, not the idiot that had way too much and is falling all over the place.

I know why Section 15 is empty. I know that the stupid ticketing system is the cause of this. I'm talking about the stadium in general. I don't want to see people filing down the aisles minutes after kickoff.

With the overcrowding they should just give out more student tickets to fill in the upper deck sections. We could set the attendance record for Carter-Finley, and possibly have more than Kenan.

it's not all due to compacting. it looks so much more red b/c everyone in the student section wears red.

I will guarantee you that more people are packed into 7/8 than any other section. Some games we've had to pretty much stand sideways. You move some of those people somewhere else and 14/15 will fill up faster. And you also have dumbasses waiting till kickoff to come in just so they can get in 14/15.

you are an idiot if you think that those sections are not compacted and overcrowded (or you have never actually been to that area of the stadium during our more successful years/moments in football.

It is always packed in, as bypassing the system and photoshopping tickets was way too easy, so everyone brought in a printout of a section 7 ticket and got in if they came early enough. I personally never sat in the upper deck but 1 time while I was a student, and didnt normally have lower section seats.

They should give out less than capacity of lower tickets, and give out WAYYY more upper level tickets than there really are, and hope that they end up with just the right combination to fill up both sections.

i agree with you simonn. Thats whats wrong with the ticketing system. Every ticket that isnt used shows up in section 15. Hopefully it won't be totally empty like that picture for the UNC game.

^^^^Tickets aren't specifically lower or upper section. You just get a student ticket and get a stamp depending upon the time you arrive. They just have problems knowing when to stop stamping 7/8 and start stamping 14/15.

The reason 15 is not filled is because people are in 7/8. Students are using up their allotment to the fullest.

The ticket policy is stupid. Alumni are stupid. People who are bitching about the students not filling up the section are stupid.

Put the whole stadium on general admission, and the upper decks will all look emptier.

first 2,600 are supposed to be stamped 7/8, the next 2,600 stamped SEZ, then whatever amount in the north endzone, and finally 14/15. I'd actually like to know the number of actual seats available compared to the number they really stamp for those sets though.

So tonight UNC-CH's campus in general and multiple dorms got an earful of the fight song and 'red and white' multiple times up close and personal from some random bunch of state fans who happen to have trumpets and know the fight songs

and let me just say this, it got a lot of people out of the dorms and riled up, some of them were pretty fucking pissed, hinton james actually felt the need for a TAR................HEEL chant after they got hit from behind and then got the full fight song and red and white from the top of the parking deck across from them
