Why has this become such a tradition? Let them paint it blue...wait til after the game, and repaint it. I would rather see everyone that is "guarding" the tunnell to instead attend the game and cheer hard and loud. sadly, given that we can't play a full game against a good team, we are goin to get waxed anyways...i'd only put forth the same effort that the team is willing to put forth.

with that said, props to Costener on a good season. The other fellas need to play like they want to win more.

I once saw on tv that Michigan State fans guard a Spartan statue before the Michigan football game to keep them from painting it. About 10 years ago the Michigan fans still managed to paint it in a drive by shooting with a paint gun. I don't have a paint gun and will not get involved in these childish games, but it is an idea that could work.
