There's always an aspect to these unexpected suicides that completely escapes me.

If you watch any of these trailers for Dark Knight, you see Ledger giving a top-notch performance, really proving he is a great actor. Just a few weeks later, he kills himself.

Hopeless suicides like this make me wonder why he even bothered to get out of bed to act in a movie. Why give it all you have, then kill yourself the next day?

I'm sure there were warning signs, but why would someone so emotionally upset bother with being a good actor in a stupid movie?

I listened to an interview with a woman reporting on this story on MSNBC and she was saying there might be revisions to his role in the new Batman movie. They did not do that with the Crow. Brandon Lee did not even get a chance to finish filming that movie and they still kept him in every scene that he did without revision.

This role is said to be very eerie/creepy but I bet it is one of his best. I think that would be very unfortunate.
